I'm glad you noticed that and had some input to contribute. This LC plant was an adopted mother that I was gifted by a family member. The thing that baffles me, is that he had this LC along with all of his other girls, under all the exact same environment and conditions, and this was the only one to show signs of revegging.
The person who gifted it to me told me he has had it with all the others for it's whole life and it has always had the mutant single and triple bladers. No get this....he says every single clone he has ever taken from this strain has vegged and flowered out with no more then singles and triples making up 100% of the plant.
After doing countless hours of research I've learned that this Mr. D character (the guy who created LC) had a strain he called MLC, short for "Mutant Lemon Cake". I can't help but wonder if this is the plant he was talking about.
Has anyone ever had experiences with a plant that retained it's mutated characteristics? Anything else to add that may shed some light on my conundrum? I'll try to get a few more photos up tonight. The stringy vegetation of this plant is unlike anything I've ever seen in a cannabis plant. Only a few close up shots of the secondary shoots will do any justice
