i use a homemade aero cloner i made couple years back, and i get about a 95 percent grow rate, half the time i dont even dip my cuttings i just put a little h2o2 in it and some rhizotonic and in about 4 to 8 days i got big roots. and the water gets really really warm but ive never had problems with getting them to root

I think i due to add some Rhizo to the Aero cloner, 7 days still no fucking roots! These Tahoe are beginning to piss me off!!!

yea man the rhizo works miracles i have a stain that is very hard to clone also and sometime them things take over 2 weeks and thats if they root other than that strain they almost always all root

Did not read all the thread so maybe someone already posted tip for cuttings, so here my two cents: I heard some mothers like to have their nitrogen lowered few weeks prior to taking cuts. Also you can minimise stress by rooting side shoot on live mother and cut it when side shoot rooted.(check advance rooting method)

Put rhizotonic in your cloner but take a whiff every day to smell for mold or mildew that can grow in warm moist environments. If you smell any put a cap full of hydrogen peroxide in and it will get rid of it. I also spray my leaves with rhizotonic and superthrive in a spray bottle, it makes a big difference especially since the cuttings have no roots to uptake nutrients from the water.

Added about 7.5ml / Gal to the cloner. While i was in the cloner I noticed 1 of the Tahoe has a bunch of the "acne" (I forget the real name) on it which is great. Unfortunately, not all of them look that way

Yeah if you read a little further back I made one cheap at first. But that's the thing, it also looks and feels cheap. This type of cloner to me is ghetto. It works yes, but I don't like it. I made one that was of higher quality and it cost a little more. I take pride in my work.

lol "I take pride in my work." Why the fuck would you care how much something cost if it works just as good as something that costs more? In my book you would be someone who does not care about money, and likes to waste it. Sure what I made might be considered "ghetto" to your standards, but its works just as good as your fancy little cloner... When someone has to use more expensive items to make something that is when you know that they are not a stoner-macguyver. In this world I would be ahead of you because I saved around 30 bucks on what I made and it works just as good, maybe even better. I am not trying to be a dick here man, I just take pride in being a stoner-macguyver.

Just checked the Aero cloner temp... 85 degrees... It's in a 73.4 degree room on the cold floor and still it's 85.... Disturbing...

85 is not a bad temp to be at. The 70-85 range is exactly where you want to be.

Yeah I know, I was thinking of mac-guyvering some shit. If i buy a bigger tub to hold 10-15 gal lets say that should help a lot. All I'd have to do is cut the holes in the lid and move everything else over like the pump, manifold, etc. I bet that would help a lot

and most likely more when i hook up the 30 site.. i havnt set it up yet tho.

uhm.Im kinda late, but, I been on the TakeRoot for bout a year now. And Im goin str8 to an amateur jiffy start mix with soil and B-1. Then under lights/sun...then Sun.

IF I ever get around to Macguyvering this sucker you'll see why I avoided it before hahaha let's just say I have a tendency to procrastinate sometimes.

3 Gallons. Like I said the room is 73.4 F and the cloner gets up to 85 F. I bet 10 - 15 Gal would be enough to keep the water closer to the room temp which would be great!

woooo hooo finally!... i lost like 5 clones out of this batch cause i was scarring the stems (badly) to see what would happen so i tossed a few.. im makin a batch in the next few days.. gonna fll up my new 30 site and see how it works how many gph is ur pump? i have a really small one.. like 90gph i think.

The one that came with it is enormous for the application, 396 gph i think.
