I'd like to take a gander at them, myself.
Just to see if everything was on the up and up.
Would't you, too??
Do you think he is deliberately hiding something???
When a person is vying to be the Leader of America, don't you think he should comply with the precident set by his own father?
I don't think I would be able to determine for myself if he had made any mistakes or hovered over the grey area too long - I'm not that good at returns.
I also don't think that he has anything legal to hide, the other guys are saying the same thing,
That doesn't mean he has nothing to hide and that is where others are missing the point.
the guy shows he has a retirement account that has a hundred million dollars in it - someone explain how that is possible?
the guy paid 14.9 percent in the year he offered, I suspect he paid less in other years. I suspect that in at least a few he achieved his "personal best" of paying NO taxes.
It is also possible that he did run afoul of IRS law and was spanked, he may have made use of one of the many IRS amnesty programs, while that is ok for him, it wouldn't look good to the public.
I have made a great study of this man out of curiosity. I at first suspected he was a tax avoidance devote. Many people with the money to do so, will take great pains in order to reduce their tax burden. I have said that my father was one of them, forbidding my mother to work because it would raise his rates to the point where the housekeeper would cost more than my mother would bring home. "stay at home, clean the house - shop, lunch, take care of the kids, just don't earn any money".
But I now suspect Romney is not just a tax avoidance guy, I think he is a true miser. I happen to think being a miser is a sympton of hoarding and it is a character flaw, I do not think it is a flaw that should keep a person from being president.
