You understand that right? While I personally grow tomatoes some of the people here even grow marijuana! These people are on your side, whether you are going to wake up and listen is the only question.

You want free advice? Sometimes it comes with an opinion too.

Thats exacly what i want, advise and opinions also the anwser to my question would be nice. But when some one replies " SEE YOU IN JAIL" thats not a opinon nor is it advise.

Start with 3 plantsfor your first grow...not 80! That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. get some experience first.

Hi, Im starting my first grow in a 3 bedroom apartment.

I don't know what flowing plants smell like because i never grew before but im going to grow about 60-80 plants.
Im going to get a carbon filter. What else is there a eliminate oder?
Also with these things to what extent does it eliminate the oder, like is it completly masked?

Unless your 3 Bedroom Apartment is in the middle of the woods with no other houses around it - ie, not an apartment, you could be asking for trouble. Grow 8-12 plants for your first grow. And in your case, since you're in an apt, if ur growing with cfl's sure, go up to 12 plants, if you're growing with an HID, go with under 8 plants. They'll get stinky and unmanageable unless u wanna spend a few hundred on a really good carbon filter.

odor control is an iffy thing for a grow that big,i would guess grow in your apt,be the apt what is your normal humidity and kinda figuer .5 -1% higher per plant so get a dehumidifer now just circulating air will push and pull air through any opening seal all holes no mater how small. dont forget the light fix box,plug boxes.switches.clear packing tape may be the best. insted of loud expencive fans use a air handeler from your local hv/ac shop they are ballanced and you cant hear your nabors can you...use insulated duct with runs of at least 8 ft put the carbon filters at the end of the runs. filters need to handel atleast 500 true cfm measuer your cubic feet of the room ex.12Lx12Wx8H=1152 cubic feet the faster you can exchange the air over the carbon scrubbers the better you might need 3000 cfm. and 100lbs of carbon,make shure the carbon is for air not water, but the carbon has a life span safe side around 6 mo at 50% humidity. the higher the humidity the shorter it last. along with that use in line uvc lights. lowes got them for 120$ ea. i would stay away from the oils. and let your nabors know your a day sleeper..put blinds on the inside frame of your window so you can black out the back side of your blinds...exaust and fresh air intake is all you....room temp gona be a prob...i got an idea.a mini split...ill explain that if you like...ill think more tomarrow...message me if you got any questions....ps im not done yet.......

Well as said growing your first time 80 plants is gonna be tough especially in an apartment. If your doing Als rotating crops your gonna have divided rooms in the main room and will need carbon scrubbers and mufflers to silent them up. Your looking a few grand for what your gonna need.Figure each scrubber will need a big enough cfm fan so figure $225 x 4 on those then 4 larger can filters at $150 each then the mufflers are about $100 x 4. Now your also gonna wanna scent cover like ona so figure another $200 on that.Your gonna need to bring fresh air in from outside and be able to vent the scrubbed air outside so not sure how the apartment is setup but youll have to go through a wall cieling or window so your gonna have to figure that out and then some how blacken your room window your gonna grow in but make it look like its not blacked out or thats a tell tale sign of a grow.I assume your using digital lights to stop the loud hum of multiple lights ballasts.Make sure you have your own fuse box in your unit as you will pop some fuses as apartments usually arent wired strong enough so you ll need to do some modifying. For harvest and drying forget doing it in the apartment as about 3 weeks into flower its gonna be pretty bad smell filling the apartment so make sure you dont go out very much just stay inside and dont open doors or windows as the smell will travel. Dont use windo ac as it will exhaust smells and dont use your furncae or it will smell out side.

This is all exactly right and is going to cost thousands of dollars, some construction and also electrical knowledge

And Dooke is spot on on how to do it. You are prbably going to re-wire your fusebox to handle the amps for all the equipment tho

listen to both these guys. start off small, then move to big.
then you dont want to get nailed for distrabution/cultivation.
i was reading on the cali med weed thing and i saw the "state standards-6mature,12inmature. i also saw different counties that have higher limits. dont get your hopes up though...if you get caught and the state pics it up your hit, even worse if the feds pic it up its over. fed time sucks!

Do you remember which counties those were?
