grow what ever your heart fancy's and is good for your climate. and be wary of hybrids, i grew a 85 indica/15 sativa....and my plants are like all sativa..late flowering really tall..thin leaves..so hybrids make no sense to me to be honest they really aren't as stable as you think with the percentages.

It's another from my favorite--
Yet sometimes unstable breeders. I usually look up my strains pretty good before purchase after buying Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk which was claimed to grow like an indica but actually grew like a sativa. Now every company has it's good and bad products but their Red Cherry Berry was pretty good. Now I'm not saying this is like $40 an 1/8 top shelf bud from the dispensary but it is pretty good. It is easy to gorw, has strong genetics and yields well. Here's the breeder's description:
Barneys Farm Red Cherry Berry is an indica strain developed specially for everyone who loves a cerebral high to go with a body stone. Barney's Farm seed breeders crossed their very best skunks, Skunk No.1 and her Californian ancestor. The result of this breeding experiment is a very hardy cannabis seed from which you can expect big yields and high THC content. Red Cherry Berry is extremely homogenous and perfectly adapted for all growing methods.. We would definitely recommend her for beginners. She shows great results in soil, pots and hydroponics setups. Whether her cannabis seeds are grown indoors, in a greenhouse or outdoors, this cannabis variety expresses the best of both its sativa and indica genetics. Red Cherry Berry from Barney's Farm have changed cannabis cultivation. The plants from her seeds have a typical sativa maturing (app. 75 days); they are stable and highly potent with a relatively good yield of 700 gr. of dried product per outside plant and around 100 gr. per m2 when this marijuana cross are cultivated indoors. Indica domination contributes to Red Cherry Berry growing and compact bud formation, mature plants get an indica height and a sweet fruity indica smell. They have a typical x-mas shape, rich branching is supported by robust stems. The maximum high is 120-150 cm. Short internode gaps explode into dense, rounded bud-clusters which merge into compact, heavy colas by harvest time with a sweet fruity aroma and taste with a stunning combination of stone and high! Typically for indica dominated cannabis, Red Cherry Berry has lower THC and higher CBD counts which produces a very powerful, couchlock effect.
Sex: Regular & Feminized
Type: Indica
Flowering: Photoperiod
Height: Medium
Area: Indoor & Outdoor
Genetics: Skunk #1. Californian Indica
It is a reasonable priced product at $43.04 +shipping for 5 fems or $10.35 each +shipping from Attitude. I personally recommend this strain for it's thick stock and dense buds. It's a very resistant plant that won't let you down outdoors in my area at least (in NorCal) and according to some journals from other areas. It can take very heavy feedings and is just a good strain all around. Great for the person not cought up on all this top shelf few % higher and way harder to grow nonsense.
This plant is a great plant for topping/lst/fimming whatever you do. It'll take just about anything you throw at it.

Edit: Don't get me wrong about the Pineapple Chunk it is a great top shelf strain if you live in an area with time to grow it.

ive read many posts about pineapple chunk being a late flowering strain, could just be a common phenotype thats popped up a lot.

Hippy... Forget the burlap. It's much to heavy when wet and might be to heavy when dry. Get yourself some "REMAY". It's white but it's light and can just be draped over your girls with no support. Problem is that it is white so there goes stealthy. :D

Whats a good plant that will would be pest resistant in central cali
The strain doesn't play a large enough part in deterring bugs. You need to get ready for the bugs
IMO
You can try:
[h=1]Safer Caterpillar Killer with BT or something like it[/h]I use the same thing I use for the roses for the mites and stuff:
Dish soap and water. Idk why it works but I'm going to guess because I don't like eating soap either.

Aye stuff has potential! I've been looking into other material's so thank you for the recommendation! The burlap works fine for my caged tomatoes, but it does indeed get rather heavy. I have been considering other material's that would serve the same purpose but will be used in a guerrilla grow. But I'll be sure to add this material as a candidate! (At least if I find a way to get it recolored) I have also seen another material that is already preformed with a caging system inside. It was made just for the purpose I mentioned earlier, can't remember the brand saw it at a hardware store and wrote it down. I would have picked one of them up for experimentation but honestly they seemed small. I am going to look up the manufacturer and try to find some larger ones. The stuff seemed pretty cool thin enough to let a ton of light in but weaved in a manner that would still stop the frost particles.

Dinafem Industrial or Moby Dick. Either one needs outdoors and lots of space. Big yielders but hard to hide. Industrial is Thai X Afghan and kicks ass but so does Moby Dick. Dinafem's stuff always rocks for me. My "go to" breeder.

I say Romulan!!
Hey wheezer your cut of romulan looks very sativa ...

But when I get romulan from a club it has strong indica qualities
And most websites have it listed as a indica ..

I'm confused. is there more phenos out there ?
Or does romulan grow like a sativa but have the effects if a indica ?

I've been researching it for the past week but I'm getting mixed answers ...
Just trying to see if you can give me any insight to this
