Chlorine is used by commercial hydroponic greenhouses to treat and prevent root pathogens like pythium (root rot). The commercial product 'Pythoff' is nothing more than RO water with chlorine bleach added.I second the bleach and water, just start filling with water and add a splash of bleach. Let it soak for a bit then scrub with some paper towels, rinse well and dry with paper towels. I never have had issues with this method. I dont reuse air stones or air lines either but usually because I dont clean buckets out right away. As for the nutes I recommend just picking one and learning how to use them. If you got the mulah and dont mind buying additives then go with A/N or Canna otherwise if you want to do it on the cheap go with General Hydroponics. I would stick with the 2 parts and a bloom booster at a minimum.
I dont now wat to use

dude thats perfect because i recently got ahold of 23 Recipe for success kits for free from this festival in chicago!!! lol if u have had success then I'm confident i should too then!Arroz: For nutes in hydro, I'm a fan of Technaflora's, "Recipe for Success." If you use their whole program, it's complete, user friendly and I haven't had any of the problems you see these guys complaining about here. All you need is good water, a set of measuring spoons and something to check and adjust pH and ppms with.
As far as cleaning your reservoir, I use the same dish washing detergent my wife keeps under the sink, some soft brushes and sponges I've collected over the years and I give it a triple rinse like I did with my mess kit years ago. A friend of mine uses a 10% bleach solution. I think the important thing is that everything that goes into the reservoir get a thorough cleaning and rinse too. I hope that helps. Hank
