Hey guys, I run a flood and drain system 6” in Rockwool cubes on coco mat. Room temp 79 lights on..70 lights off. Water temp 70. Ppm 1300...strain is Hindu Kush..3 Weeks into flower.. 1000w Hps eye hortilux. So if you look at the picture you will see the hooking on the leaves..any thoughts on why that is? Km also wondering if I should be flooding more than once a day, I feed them one hour after the lights come on...any suggestions would be IMAG0969.jpgappreciated..

I notice a slight small yellow burn at the end of the leaves. You might have two issues, slight humidity issue to cause the turning down and maybe, from what it looks like, a week or so or more you might have mixed a little too much nitrogen, cut way back on the grow nute at this stage I only use 10 percent of what it says to use and see if you can move the air around the room a little more. They are not dying by any means you will be ok just need to tweek your enviorment a little. Also when you flush the res? During flower I do it every week, no matter what, strip down and wash with soap and water, dry than remix nutes.

Good luck

The tips look burnt, back your nutes off a 100ppm or so to see if the tips straighten out again. Do you run a flood cycle of water in your cycle at all. I would consider leaching once a week, running 1300 things can happen fast.

I have never done a pure water cycle...please explain. This is only my second grow. I do flush though, about every 2weeks

I also use 6" blocks and feel you should watering twice a day for now and bump it up to three times a day the last 4 weeks.

What is the PH and EC in the cubes?
This will be different that what is in the rez.
Ph has always been maintained at 5.8 it hasn't changed and then it stared hooking like 5 days or so ago. I took the ppm down to 1200 an hour ago. I hope that helps

Only that one plant is hooking...why? All my plants are the same strain. Here a pic of another plant on the same table right next to captain hook. IMAG0982.jpgDo you see any deficiencies?

different phenos. unless they come from the same mother plant as cuttings they are different. look at families with multiple children, none are the same, and none grow the same. some have allergies and some have genetic flaws. same in plants.

You can run your ppm pretty hot 1800-2400 if you do a flush once a week in rockwool. My max ppm is currently 1800, what I do is give the girls a drink of fresh water every week. I generally give 3-4 litres a day but on the flush day I will double that or more. The 4th week of flower they get a full flush of 25 litres per tray then get tapered back from there. Works great for finding the high end of your feeding schedule.

You must remember with rockwool you can flush them completely out in one good flush so if you ever think there is a problem flush really good, drop your nutes by 20%and begin fresh, your irls will never know they had an issue.

Good Luck
