'We're Not Going to Let Our Campaign Be Dictated by Fact-Checkers' - Romney Pollster

Anyone on the right (Beenthere?) want to try to spin this in a way that doesn't indicate that Romney intends to continue telling lies to the American People?

Strange how not a single rightie has the guts to even try to defend this statement. It is clear to any thinking person that what was said here is -

"we intend to keep lying to the American Public"

Beenthere? you got nothin?

I don't even think Righties like Romney...they ust prefer to give him a shot over Obama.
You guys probably consider me a "righty", although I personally disagree with that assessment.

Anyway, here is my position: I don't want Romney to win in November, but I definitely want Obama to lose.

That is how I think a lot of righties feel...and you are no doubt about it a 100% right winger.

Man you know that's bullshit. I've been voting Libertarian for years and i'm fairly Liberal when it comes to just about any social issue

But since the contest is between those two and no others, it's a tautology. cn

A pollster said this? Is this pollster in charge of Romney or something? Who gives a flying fuck what a pollster said? Just like I could care less what the guy who installs the urinal cakes in the Whitehouse thinks of Obama. That guy installing the piss targets doesn't run the show.

Sorry canndo but this is the first I've heard of it. I did a quick search and it looks to be about 24hrs old. Since I have no facts and just opinions from left wing blogs, I think I'll wait until I hear more information on the subject.

No offense but it seems pretty stupid to debate something based solely on conjecture at this time, wouldn't you agree?

what is conjecture?

a romney surrogate said that they're not going to let fact checkers dictate the campaign.

your problem at this point is that no one has fed you a canned talking point to regurgitate.

To be fair I could see Obama campaign person saying the same thing, pretty disgusting but its nothing new, politicians lie constantly. Just check with any 'fact checker'. I learned this in 3rd grade.

this is what the guy said. Now excuse me beenthere, I enjoy you and your presence here but it sure looks to me like you are not commenting until you get the approved talking points from FOX. How old do you suppose news has to be before you can comment on it? does it need to be aged?

The reason it is the first you have heard of it is that your news sources are pretty biased and they tend to withold such things - at least until they can come up with a counter argument.

there is nothing to this statement but "common sense" - he stated that they will disregard facts.

Now it is obvious that they are acting with this intent as Ryan's speech contained some outright lies - like the one about the Auto plant that Obama allowed to close - even though it closed during the first month of office. Lie. He repeated the "obama is gutting medicare" lie again. I expect someone will come up with what the right will feel is a "satisfactory answer" to those who question this moral fellow who is disregarding the truth just as the the guy said.

he is establishing a pattern, he is willing to disregard the truth, now will you assure me that he won't continue to do the same once he is in office?
