Thanks, let us know how you make out when you get to try the seeds.worth every penny, follow it precisely and it works like clock work.
i want to get some mango seeds like he uses in the book to see just how closely his results can be matched... not to mention i have never to my knowledge tried mango and trying different strains is part of what makes smoking fun
it most certainly is true........I love this book. I read all over the internet and all of the help generally involves having a huge grow room and 1000w HPS's. This book is what I will be following when I get the chance. I just wonder if the $100 dollar budget is true (excluding seed cost).
Ok.it most certainly is true........
I know seemorebuds floats around the site......... beg enough and maybe he'll show his face for ya.
Well I guess I have about $300 into it. I know I got carried away but I figured get all I can know while the wife is okaying it.good growing to you!
follow Garden Knowm's advice/methods in the book and things will work out for you... but dont be surprised if your yield is lower than his... he has game and used good seed stock for what he was trying to do.
it cost me about $150 to get things setup... i probably have under $300 into the whole setup now and i am growing 4 plants in flower and 3 in veg and 4 clones right now... did i mention i have been smoking my own bud for awhile again? as for yield... i cant give an honest answer because i dont have a scale anymore... but i got about an ounce dried out of the first plant.... i did a lot wrong.
if you are growing from bag seed, be ready to tie those puppies down now and again... dont worry, it wont hurt and it will help if you use care
between that book and this forum you should be able to produce your medicine and be a seriously happy camper
LOL yeah man, the Missus barely said it wouldnt freak her out anymore and those seeds were popping up through the soil
ask your friend you got the seeds from what the strain is... knowing what your plant is helps a lot... for instance, trying a sativa plant using the methods in the book would probably prove very difficult without some planned compensation... like tying that puppy down early and extending the flower time... or if they are lowryders changing to a 12-12 light schedule would hurt.
as for how he did it cheaply, price shopping for example, Lowe's sells the small bag of MG soil for $6 here... Ace sells the BIG bag for $6. pots at Lowe's: $2... pots at Ace: $8.... also, with gas prices as they are, i am sure the price on everything (specially energy saving stuff) has steadily gone up on us without our really noticing. i get my CFL's cheap though cause there is a factory here and i have a friend who works there... $1 each, go me
