I've read the "Grow 8 oz" book and I am intrigued. I hardly have any space... what would the dimensions of a grow box need to be in order to support three plants like that? Could it be done in a trash can like I see some people doing.

My budget isn't the greatest. Bagseed only. CFL only. Exactly like his book.

I can't say how it was done it the book since I have never read it but I am growing three plants with cfl's only in two rubbermaid tubs. Check out my grow log in my signature if your interested. Good luck with your grow.

page 12 (day 12) he says the space can be as small as 2 x 2 feet (60 x 60 cm).

his taller plant reached 24 inches tall... add 8-10 inches for the pot and then a foot or so for the light rig and you have the height.... also, notice he tied the main cola down a bit to keep the plant compact.

Oh and Cajun: That is EXACTLY what I want to do now. How tall is the trashcan? I REALLY want to get that 8 oz from 3 plants like the book says, lol. Will it be possible in that sort of setup? Or at least 2 or 3 oz total? Did you ever finish that grow? If so, yield?

Total, how much did that setup cost? I had just checked my seeds today and they had germinated, but I had no materials.... so I just threw them on some shitty soil outside lol.

I just germinated them to see if I could do it. Took 4 days.

no, he had the mango and 2 blue dots going...

as for me, i have 4 going in an area just under 30x30... it is tight with all the lights.

look around this site though, you will see a lot of cats using some seriously small spaces to grow in

On page 12, he says the one mango could be easily grown in an area of 2x2. And if cajun comes back... can you tell me where you found those Rubbermaid tubs? I really want to take your idea

Those are rubbermaid tubs that I found at Wal-Mart. They are 35 gallon tubs. I don't see 8 oz. coming out of it but its still my first grow so I could be wrong but I think 2-4 oz would be a better goal for something this size. The grow isn't finished yet but it is still going strong. I will be posting more pics and posting my yield when that time comes so keep an eye on my log. The setup cost me around $200 altogether but I had to buy some tools also. There is a complete list in my log of everything I bought.

that seemore stuff makes it way to complicated....and why would you want to only grow one plant...that's not enough to sustain you till the next grow. even if you get a good yield say 2-3 oz which be huge for one plant...will that last you 90 days until your next grow is done?

I'm going to grow 3 plants. I don't smoke copious amounts of bud a day.... usually just on the weekends or when I have free time and am bored. An oz lasts about 1.5 to 2 months.

Even if I got only a 4 oz yield from 3 to four plants... that shit would last me QUITE a while.
