Simply tuck the fan leaf back. Behind the budWhat if my fan leaves are giant and are blocking all the bottom growth of the plant?
It seems like under every giant fan leave there is an undersized offshoot trying to develop. Is this normal?
Simply tuck the fan leaf back. Behind the budyou are trying to get light to. And bend the branch you want exposed with weights or LST to help. I do both.
My favorite saying on here. I trim the bottom branches about a 8" up so air can move around my plants top and bottom. But I leave all other leaves intact, especially the huge fan leaves that are the food factories. Oh it's "Keep It Simple, Stupid".Keep it stupid simple is what I've heard or K.I.S.S.
