Need BUG ID. Pic Included.

This is the second time I took one of these bugs off my plant, looks like a small beetle. I have been having some major nute burn problems I think, unless I have bugs I have no idea. First time grower, just went into flowering with a 33" tall gal.

Any ideas what this guy is ? He is dead here and a little screwed up since I had to take him off the leaf with my pliers, (had some big spiders lately). He usually has 2 antennae, 3 legs on either side, and he is almost 1 cm long.

Yea either a stink bug or some sort of beetle. As for the plant, you need a bigger pot, IMO. That's why you are seeing defiencies. Looks like a salt buildup to me...flush it with a couple gallons water, then water her with a mild all around nutrient solution....then replant to a 5 gallon or bigger pot. That plant is begging to have more room for her roots. Pretty sure that is a 1 gallon pot you got there, as I use the same ones for vegging.

ITS A 5 GALLON POT. Be careful telling people to flush when they have time released nutrients in soil, just makes it worse. She has plenty of room, she only went in there two weeks ago.

lol you definitely can't tell by the picture that it is 5 gallon....and time release has no place in potting soil (unless it's that crappy miracle grow soil) for weed grown in pots, so that's your own fault. There's your problem.

That is not time release, I use fox farm ocean forest.......you need to go do research on how to grow.......no clue how you think flushing your locked up soil would be bad...but you do what you want to do newbie and you tell us how that goes. I'm sorry that you think my advise is bad but im pretty sure I got 6 years on you so think what you want and I'll keep growing my Quarter pounders

how is that a five gallon pot? that plant is still too big for that pot. the amount of vegetation is more than two times the amount of soil space.
