Cloning Experement - Honey vs Schultz Take Root vs Clonex gel

^^This is common misconception. A relationship between two variables does not prove a causal relationship (Stats 101). There are a number of reasons why this might be the case, not the least of which is the third variable factor bongsmilie

I am sorry that I rep'd you because instead of helping me out while I was having a brain fart, you played the fool.

Frankly, I teach research design at the graduate level and it thrills me to see people attempting to employ the scientific method in their grow rooms (however flawed their little experiments may be). You don't have to act like an ass now that you're playing scientist. We are usually much humbler than that (if we're any good).
So if a student asked you a question; which was clearly answered in the first paragraph of the 1st page of the assigned reading would you answer it? Or would you defer to the assigned reading materials? What if after answering telling them "the answer to your question is on the 1st page of the 1st chapter of the assigned reading" they said they couldn't find it. You would probably answer it at that point, like I did.

I do apologize I don't have the patience of a teacher; hence one of the reasons I am not a teacher.

Furthermore I was respectful & humble when I said for you to refer to the first posting. Which instead of doing do you proceeded to tell me how I was an ass and you have poor vision. Apparently you do if you cant figure out which is the 1st post as I responded to you the first time.

Since my "little experiment" is so "flawed" i guess you wont be interested in seeing anymore then? Feel free to remove yourself from the thread if your unable to stop being condescending for missing the first post on the first page which answered all your questions.

I do not want this tread to start slinging dirt at each other, it is uncalled for. Also I find it comical that you claim to have entirely missed the first post, however that is the post you Rep'd me on. Just FYI.

I'm sorry you missed the first post with 19 pics attached (or were too baked to remember it), then when you asked questions about it I did not feel compelled to immediately answer them with thorough written descriptions; after telling you where to look for the answers to your questions. Now lets move on. Please...

Yup - too lazy - and baked :bigjoint: - to look through all that (or more than skim the above) when you could simply answer my question. If I ask another facepalming question, just answer it nicely please. It's so much easier all around :)

AzCannaMan,
If honey wins, you should personally write Growth Technology™ Ltd. apologizing for their upcoming quarterly losses.

Whoa... what's going on in here?

I couldn't teach my way out of a box to save my life! Ha ha! My 'students' invariably get yelled at.

Wish I had something more exciting to report, but no roots yet on any plug. The water only cut in the very left front (left of the H) had wilted over this morning. Stayed that way all through the night cycle, but it's back up straight now. That's about the only change to report.

Alright. This is interesting.
Yup... I can hear the roots growing and paint drying now lol

Should get better once things begin to root, hopefully it will be less than 3 weeks from now. Hell, hopefully it will be less than 3 days from now! This Tahoe OG has some woody ass stems though, from my experience so far they are quite the bitch to actually get rooted.

That is the point of this experiment. To find something that works for these hard to root strains in reasonable time frames. Hopefully some others on here will benefit from this thread as much as I hope to.

Thanks for the relevant input! Awesome to hear from someone else firsthand what a PITA this girl is to clone, I had the "I thought it was me" feeling too! LOL

Rep+ for the great input!

This sheds a bit of light on my recent difficulty with the slow-starting Louie clone form PO (pretty much a twin of the Tahoe).

Did you get unrooted clones from them or something? Everything I've gotten or seen from them has had at least a few roots sticking out of the medium and took off right after transplanting (except for one that I fucked up putting it into my system). Was it all the clones you got that are having issues?

yah Progressive options gives some good strains but a bitch to clone makes you wonder how they're cloning their shit
Are those beauties in your signature from PO??

No roots yet, cuts still look the same as they did yesterday. Such a beautiful strain takes time I suppose... bongsmilie

It did have little white roots but not enough. They handed it to me right at that delicate stage where it was just, just forming roots. It needed at least another 48 hours in the humidome. I pulled it out of the cab and put in the humidome for 36 hours and it revived the rooting process just in time. Just this one clone stalled.
