Cfl lighting and details to growing one plant in closet

I germintated a seed and is ready for planting but...

I wanted to know how many and how much watts is needed to help a germinated seed sprout out of the soil. I heard using a "daylight" cfl is best for the seed and vegetaion stage of the plant as the "soft white" cfl is great for the flowering stage. I would love to know how much watts per cfl bulb and how many are needed for each stage of growth the plant goes through.
If you can clarify which type of cfl is needed for the differnt stages of the plant would be greatly appreciated. I've heard of: Daylight , Soft White, Cool White , Clean White , but confused which ones and how much watts are best for starting the seed, going through vegetataion, and following up on the flowering stage. Thanks to anyone who replies to this to share their truely underated wisdom.

6500k for vegg 2700k for flower look for those numbers, you can get away with about 50 watts for vegg for at least 5 weeks

If I use a 65 watt output cfl bulb to start the seed at a distance of 4 to 5 inches will the seedling die out or burn. Or what would you recommend to start the seed and get it through the veg stage with a thick stem. Im confused i was about to start the seed with 4x23 watt daylight cfl bulbs. Which do you think is the best to grow just one short bushy plant. What im asking for is howmuch cfl bulbs and wattage is needed to for 6500k and for 2700k.

If it is 100 watts actual yeah that should do fine, if it's a 100w replacement (usually 23-26w) then you'll probably want 3-4 of those. You use daylight or cool white bulbs for vegging and use warm white for flowering. You want 30-100w for vegging and at least 100w for flowering per plant. Usually you can get by on just one 23-26 watter for the first couple weeks but once it gets bigger you'll want to add more. These are also minimums to really get anything outta your plant. You'll likely want to add a bit more if your plant is getting bigger.

So if i have one 65w daylight bulbl how far would the bulb have to be from the soil and the top of the plant? If I have four 100w replacements bulbs how many inches would those have to be from the seed or sprouting?

When it's first sprouting you can keep them 4-5" away but once the first sets of leaves come in move it up to 1-2" away just don't let it touch.

this is wrong your gonna want atleast 100 true watts or you gonna have really slow growth a 23 watt will do fine for maybe a week or 2 then make sure you have atleast 100 for veg and that cutting it your gonna want some good refection of your gonna lose alot when flowering comes your gonna want double that if you wanna make it worth it i run almost 400 watts for 2 small plants thats true watts

I didn't give my germinated seeds any light until they sprouted. What's the point, they sprout fine without the light.
