I was wondering will a 3 gallon flower pot be enough for final stage? I plan on transplanting 2-3 weeks old seedlings from solo cup to final Pot which is 3 Gallons 11" wide and 9.5" long. Will this be enough or should I just go with the 5 Gallon?

Indoor or out? You should step them up to a 5 gallon (or larger) pot. If you put them in too large of a pot right away, they don't develop their roots as well. I am going to try superroots air pots next year after reading a good thread on here. Ultimately, I transplant into the ground.

You can definitely take some strains all the way with a 3 gallon. I'd use a 5 gallon though, especially if it's not a fabric or air-prune pot. If you begin to go rootbound in late flower you will have wished you would of used a 5 gallon.

At the end off the day, you choose the pot size regarding how big you want your plan.

if you can, I would get air pots or fabric pots. helps oxygen get to the roots, and helps dry the soil out to prevent root rot. Also suppose to stop rootbound.
