Hey guys need some help! I have a wilma system, clay pebbles, 400w halide, tt extraction fan and a small oscillating fan.
plants are 4 week old most of them seem ok but there are 2 that have slowly grown more moon shapped on each segment of the leaf also the leaves seem to have like lightning shaped burns/scars im not sure, the ph is 5.5-6.5 i had the problem when i only had half dose nutrients so gradually i added more but not too much and the problem is still arising with new leaves.
anyone got any clue as to what is up with them, i will post a few pics

Mine always do that in the beginning due to a lot of cal-mag (I grow in coco). They will get over it eventually :)

thanks, ive been told by a friend that it might be that the light is either too far away or too close, my light is 30 inch off im unsure of whether raise or lower it or even just leave it.......decisions..decisions

Well I'm no hydro dude but the spots and light green
patches is some type of nutrients issue like low ppms
they don't look bad but for 4 weeks they could be taller
I use 400 watters too at 14"-16" above the top of the
plants here's my at 3 weeks 3 days old

i dont think its the distance of the light as much as the temp of the room because of the light. when i was using my MH 400 my leaves would do that because it got super hot. I now use just an HPS and occassionaly the MH just to change spectrum up on em

I have had plants like this and sometimes it's genetic. Something seems to be off with your plant though because it doesn't have that lush green coloring. I would guess there's either a problem with your PH or possible over-fertilization.

i see so many sickly hydro plants :(

most of the time it doesn't look like anything i've even seen before with soil. seems like such a mess for no advantage

over fertilization? im unsure as the rest of my plants lower leaves a browning and dying off, would you recommend i change to my dual spec hps or leave them under the halide????

I Have run into this with big ph swings , that my guess of the problem. Check Ph and don't look back! Drop you E.C a bit.

And I wouldn't put a 400 any close then about 12-18 inches, too hot
