I think I am going to give Cidly a try, the price is great for the results i have seen so far. for clarification of the custom LED specs, should be similar to below?

  • Red: 620-630nm,630-640nm,640-650nm,650-670nm.
    Blue: 420-430nm,430-440nm,440-450nm,450-470nm.
    Orange: 610-615nm.
    White: 2700-4500K,4500-8000K,8000-12000K,12000-14000K.
    Green: 525nm.
    UV:380-400nm,400-410nm.
    IR: 720-740nm,850nm.

I hope this is ok to post but I located this grow on another blog site with a good deal of info on the apollo lights. So if you google; "SingLee43 Apollo blog" you should find the info. full grow and documented PAR, LUX readings and each model described. :D
Just tried it, it seems the round 2 apollo review is not too bad. And it also says cosmicgrowth is CIDLY official distributor in Canada? Has anyone tried it yet?

I am ordering the Apollo10, the setup I have quoted is as follows for the spectrum and ratio:
Red(650-670nm): 609*283* Red660nm: Red630nm:Blue430nm: White 10000K:85 orange610nm = 4:3:3:2:2:1

The Apollo 10 is only $275 ea. plus shipping = great price! recommendations or thoughts?

I have an apollo 10... pulled 9 oz from 3 Think Different (way too many for my grow space). They work great at half the price of a branded model.

I have 8 2 gals under an apollo 8. Didn't veg very long. Probably will pull a zip each of pure indicas. So around 8 zips. So I believe it. Ive pulled 12 zips under my par t5. 10 3 gals crammed together. Strain is the main factor. If they are hybrids or pure sativas they should pull more. Right now I have 2 big ones (main line method) in 5 gals under my t5 and Im estimating 3 to 4 zips off each.
Granted I have a t5 8 bulb, apollo 8, and a 1000 watt...........

I dont have a scale so i can't tell you how much i pulled. But i filled 4 large mason jars and 2 small jars. Have the same light. But i did have some led bleaching going on...
and that was off 5 female plants.

Got my apollo6 something like month ago and was waiting for seeds. Now everything is here and hopefully I also in some time will be able to report (good) my results.

My intended setup is to soil based SCROG growth, with two C99 (from femaleseeds) plants in 2"x2"x4" cabinet.

Light setup is: 8x660nm, 3x630nm, 2x460nm, 1x410nm, 1x12000K

Best Ratio for a Apollo 6, Ill be using Auto flowering plants, and will be using supplement CFL lights.

Ok. So after about a month of debating on a light, I ordered up an Apollo 8 from Cidly on Friday. My connection there, Sing, seems to believe I will have it by next weekend. Sadly, after scouring the Internet this entire month looking for some real reviews on these suckers, all I could really figure out was they aren't a sham, and they ship their product. There doesn't seem to be any grow journals, or even true, in depth reviews. Hope no one thinks this is a spam post, with it being my first and all. Just figured if we could get some actual experiences with these things, maybe we could find out if you get what you pay for, or if these are just a great light minus all the markup. I'll keep you all posted.

I've had my Apollo 8 for about 5 months. It's been thru two flower cycles and is now on the third- cyrrently, I have two Chernobyls under it in 3gal smartpots and they are doing great. As frosty as the very best examples of this strain I have ever seen. I also supplement with 4 x 30watt 2700k cfl's. My previous run saw an excellent harvest of lemon skunk and confidential cheese (tested my air filtration, for sure). Before that was Kosher Kush- a good two oz. cured per plant of dense awesome buds.

In other words, I think the Apollo's are the best bang for the buck, easily. You can certainly spend more, but if you can customize your own spectrum/lens angle, how can you go wrong? All I know is, they work a treat for me.

Hey empherio, that sound about like my setup I'll be running. What are you pulling out of that if you don't mind me asking? Another thing I haven't seen answered.

Would anyone be able to recommend a good ratio for vegging? I was planning on doing 2 x Apollo 6's with 6:5:3:1 660nm:630nm:460nm:440nm for flowering with 60deg lenses and a Apollo 4 with 120deg lenses for vegging. Just not sure what spectrum/ratios to get for vegging.

I have done 2 grows with 8 and a par t5 and 1000w hps. Did not full journal though. I didn't do a grow with it by itself either. I sold the 8 and t5. I just ordered an Apollo 10 The 8 was too small and I wanted a different spectrum too. This one is for flowering only. I will have it on a light mover. After Christmas I plan on ordering another 10 for flower and an 8 for veg and an add a lamp kit for the mover. Also my last 8 was a flower only spectrum.

I posted a couple pics in main lining thread and in organics.

Per module
Flower

5 Red 660nm................... (90 degree)
5 Red 630nm................... (90 degree)
1 white 10,000k................(90 degree)
2 white 5000k...................(90 degree)
2 White 4200k................. (90 degree)

Veg

1 Blue 460........................... (90 degree)
4 white 6500k......................(90 degree)
4 White 5000k ................... (90 degree)
3 Red 660nm ..................... (90 degree)
3 Red 630nm ......................(90 degree)

The whites have uv and ir. So no need to add those low 0.8 watt diodes for uv and ir.
