A slow dry
or a nice cure
or both affect cannabis equally?

If you can get it done without the buds molding ... slower is better imo. cni think a slow dry is very important. Im wondering if there is an added benefit by letting them take 2 weeks to dry rather than 10 days.
i agree also very nice thomas jefferson quote. I like that one alot.a slow dry & a nice cure both help but growing organically as even more effect on taste
6-7 is not enough my friend. 10 days minimal imo. if you jar too quickly i think it fucks with the flavor. It needs to be jarred at just the right time. I dont like jarring when it will go to 70% in just a few hours. I like to jar when they got around 60% humidity in them and take it down from there. But then again i use a specific drying room with climate control so i can control drying times. My technique is 6-7 days drying so that stems bend, then I jar em up. I have hygrometers that I put into the jars to monitor humidity. The humidity starts at around 70% and I slowly let them crawl down to around 60%
The first few days I open the jar for a few hours then as time goes on I burp them less and less. Works like a charm for me....I know other people use brown paper bags for another step after the initial dry, but if it aint broke, don't fix it
Simon (I think that's his username) has a great guide on ICMAG. I should add that the method I described is his method, i'm just trying to spread the word

i think the exact number of days really depends on where the person doing the drying lives almighty.. a person who lives in the dry, arid desert will have their buds dry quicker then a person who say lives in miami, where the heat and humidity are in the 90's or so..6-7 is not enough my friend. 10 days minimal imo. if you jar too quickly i think it fucks with the flavor. i agree with what your saying. In that situation if people want to get the full advantage of a slow dry they need to invest money in climate controli think the exact number of days really depends on where the person doing the drying lives almighty.. a person who lives in the dry, arid desert will have their buds dry quicker then a person who say lives in miami, where the heat and humidity are in the 90's or so..
