electronic ballast RF question

so ive been researching the RF disruption with the ballast and I did the test myself. hooked up boombox to a good am station when i plug in the ballast and as light turns on the radio gets staticy for 1-2 min. when the bulb is fully on the static drops and i have to bring the radio right next to the bulb to get any interference. as i move it farther away the static goes away. My question is, if the static goes away after I fully turn it on and the am radio works in the room, i should be ok correct? im using a galaxy 600watt 50/60hz. Was thinking of getting a magnetic one

personally i wouldnt risk it. if your neighbours cables are around where you keep the ballast you could mess with their internet and stuff which causes suspicious neighbours

LoL yeah when i had my digital ballast the cable company had to come in to fix a line because my internet wasent working. then I found out about the RF issue got me a electronic one thinking that would fix the problem LoL. I think the cords are shielded because the ballast is right next to my cable splitter and nothing happens to my cable lines, tvs/monitors works fine. its just when it turns on when the radio picks up the interruption and it isnt the whole room, i literally have to bring the radio close to the reflector plug on the hood by were the bulb screws in to get any interruptions, once fully on it gets very little.

that seems ok. i would turn it on and then go and ask the neighbours if they are having any internet problems. make out yours keeps cutting out.

also, the rf signals shouldn't be coming from your light. magnetic ballasts really don't have this issue, i'ts more of a digital ballast issue. regardless using a radio next to your light shouldn't be your test, it should be next to your ballast.

electronic 600 watt galaxy ballast. radio by ballast no interference. only reason why i got it to the lamp, i was checking the cord and it got fuzzy when i got close to the bulb. cable is fine , my tv/monitors arent flickering or bugging out.
