Can drops of water on your leaves cause hotspots?

do ya think ya posted this in the wrong section??? i see how a HID light would cause burns, but, really??? why doesn't our entire food supply get torched then? im pretty sure evaporation, transpiration take effect WAY before the sun could cause any damage...

kaendar, i want to see the pics that prove your point... or are you just spouting off some major BS... back up what your saying with some photographic proof.

pics or gtfo

edit: i want to see pics from an outdoor plant not some indoor potted plant...
Did you miss the links I posted? And to answer your question, it is only certain types of plants (like cannabis) that can even suspend the water on the leaves.

I posted my video proof, Kaendar doesn't seem to accept it. Maybe my plants are just to big and healthy to get burned...2012-08-12_13-09-34_810.jpg2012-08-12_13-10-19_180.jpg

Is this dude still insisting water drops will burn weed leaves? Seriously man, give it up. You are wrong. Period end of story. They will not burn under HID or sun light.

Numbnutz.

farmers across the nation listened to kaendar this year and did not water their corn during the drought because they thought it would catch on fire. now there is a shortage of corn and prices are through the roof because they listened to kaendar's shitty advice.

i blame you for the higher price of food now, kaendar.

kaendar, your shitty thread gave me cancer, herpes, syphillis, AIDS, and anal polyps.

It might rain tonight. Everybody in the Fresno area keep your fire extinguisher close by.
I'm in luck.... weather calls for sun, sun and more sun!

Why would you do that? I'm sure you already knew that RIU has seasoned growers, Such as Kaendumb, that would have told you what the outcome was going to be! All those times I sprayed and made it rain....... Damn I've been lucky...

For the last time, I never said it will for sure happen, all im saying is that it has been scientifically proven to be possible. And not all plants are succeptible, only certain species of plants can even suspend the water long enuf for the sunlight to magnify. Chances are it wont happen, especially in N. America, but I wud say otherwise if you live closer to the equator. It did happen to me once years ago, didnt do anything but cause little spots and didnt effect growth at all. I never said your plants will burst into flames so stop with the bullshit jokes.

How do you guys think most forest fires start ?
All it takes is one drop of water

A drop of water, embers from a camp fire, lightning strike, cigarette flicked from a car driving by... theres alot of possibilities, unfortunately, most of the time forest fires are caused by man.
