I used a 250W with a wing like the one you mentioned and it got really hot, temps were always an issue and since it wasn't cool-tubed I couldn't lower the light to the optimum distance for that bulb. Right now I got a 400W Cool-tube with a 400 CFM inline exhaust and the tent stays at a cool 78 degrees (at the canopy) with the light 10 inches from the top of the plants. Remember that all lights have an optimum light range distance, the further the light is the less lumens will reach the plants; with a cool-tube your able to lower the lights as close as 6 inches if the exhaust is strong enough. After genetics, light is the next important aspect of growing quality bud. With the 400W cool-tube I average around 5 to 8 ounces, using a SCROG method with LST in a waterfarm. It all depends on many factors but you can get up to 10-12 ounces like SCOTTYBALLS did on his infamous waterfarm grows; and he also has a bat-wing reflector like the one you want to purchase.
