bud rot sucks...

the house im in has damp issues, my plants are 5-6 weeks into flower and already lost 2 colas to bud rot, i no how to find the rot as iv had experience before so i have found it on day 1 both times but stil lost half the colas... i use a 120x120 tent with my extractor going 24/7 and use fans but its not enough as my humidty stays around 60-65%, my dehumidifier cost me $140 and is way too loud and after 4 hours+ it only drops my humidity by 2-3%

budrotstop didnt stop the rot either... every plant that gets dense is going to rot and i have no way to stop it...

any ideas? its a rented house so i cant install air bricks or unblock the chimneys, i have no ladders and dont like heights so i cant be messing around with the chimney, and the landlord knows the neighbours so i dont want to be seen up there lol... so annoyed

Dude that sucks a lot. In my area a good dehumidifier will run 200- 250 bucks. I have a Kenmore and it is loud but it does the job. Think I paid around 200 for it ten years or more ago. May be worth it for you to buy a better one?

what light you using and whats the humidity temps when lights are off ?

Heat will help lower the relative humidity, but generally is undesired. If you don't have temp problems, portable radiant heaters are good for raising the temps. Even if none of the humidity is removed, higher temps will hold higher amounts of water and therefore the humidity will be 'relatively' lower, even if it didn't go anywhere. Depending on how bad the problem this may or may not help. Good luck man.

bit low on funds at the moment, had my last grow ruined by a nosy landlord, literally was driving to house viewings with my babies in the van, all the moving made me loose yield, and when i moved here they got BUDROT!! but they were about finished atleast, but this time they need a good 3 more weeks, and i cant run a noisy dehumidifier im about at my noise limit already

no, i Low Stress Trained them though, but there so green and healthy all the colas are getting thick and dense...my fault for doing too good a job!

im puting the heating on starting tomorrow, going to keep the temps at 75 with lights off (purely to lower the humidity, normally i keep them at 65 when lights are off, im using 3x 600's all silverstar cooling hoods so temps dont go over 82 with lights on, humidity stays around 65

thanks, yes im going to have to just raise the temps 24/7, if only i could unblock the chimneys and have air bricks... hate the feeling of knowing my plants could be ruined any day

im buying another 2 fans tomorrow morning, hoping more air movement will help.
