Doing it big in the Northwest

LOl..nice pics man...those birds are the shit!...an old girlfriend had one that would bite my earlobe...I would throw him like a baseball down her 40 foot hallway..he would squeak n squeak...then walk all the way back to the couch...climb up..get on my shoulder and either take a dump on y shoulder or bite my ear lobe again..and I would throw him again..he loved it!..they got a lot of personality and they are cute.
That sounds exactly like the majority of birds I had when I was a kid (I didn't hand raise my birds when I was young) They usually like to chew on anything though :) My fingernails and silver necklace is a favorite as well.

The color is a mix of Orange, Yellow, Green, White, Black and Blue. I am thinking that the crazy colors are due to some sort of inbreeding somewhere along it's line. You will find more commonly than not, a lovebird that has some sort of inbred gene. Regardless she has been great so far, listens and loves me!

I'm from the puget sound area too, Guido. About 30 minutes out of Seattle.
Don't mind how my status says I'm from Oregon, I felt like putting my actual location would leave me vulnerable to conspiracy or some shizz, heh...

I agree that our weather is pretty damn lame, but you gotta admit we had a summer a few years back that was hot as hell and pretty great, Man.
Anyways, I've also got an outdoors set up going on. It's very similar to your set up in a number of ways except I do not have a green house protecting my ladies. A green house to protect the plants from our inconsistent weather and temperatures would have been a good idea, but I'm trying to force an early flowering cycle on my plants and hopefully I will be able to avoid the rain and cold that usually comes around the regular harvest time.

Oh yeah, it's my first grow too.

You will surely need to have a greenhouse if you expect to escape the rain, unless you are putting your plants inside, in the dark, every day to imitate a shorter flowering time. I don't give a shit about who knows where I am for it's all "Legal" for me. I have my marijuana permit. This marijuana I am growing is not for profit, it is mainly for my mother who has bad arthritis and for personal use. Experience is also something I gain from growing these plants! I am looking to pursue a career in botanics and horticulture, as well as something along the lines of zoology or aviary animals.

So far so good :)
Everything is doing great and there are no pests or mites. Hopefully it stays this way.
I am deciding on weather or not I should buy or build my own greenhouse, I am leaning towards buying one. My job cut my hours in half, so I am strapped fo ca$h

I didn't take a picture of the chocolope, I was too preoccupied.

I took down the tiny greenhouse and have built a frame out of wood today. It will be finished tomorrow, will deliver pictures.

Your plants are looking pretty healthy, Man.
I have a question regarding the "bushiness" of your cannabis plants- your plants are looking nice and full with good branching and what appears to be multiple colas. My plants are not branching out much and the basic structure of them looks like a main stalk with fan leaves and buds swelling along the base of the fan leaf stems. I'm assuming you get your plants to "bush out" by topping them? Do you also prune the branches or just the main top?

The bushiness of my plant is due to my pruning. I prune about 4-7 days in veg growth to ensure the smaller branches may get light and catch up with the canopy. I remove the fan leaves blocking light from getting to the middle of the plant. Keeping a foot or so of space is also essential in keeping good airflow for the plants. Outdoor plants tend to create a lot of unnecessary bottom foliage. Pruning and Airflow are essential to give your plants some breathing room for the buds. Towards the end of flowering the temperatures here become cold, rainy and windy. This is the perfect environment for bud mold. I lost most of my grow to bud mold last year, and this year I am being smart and correcting my mistakes. I also have a fancy new greenhouse I finished today :))))))))

Lemon Drop? It looks like it had purple calyxes, a very nice feature, one I would like to find some day. Also, I like how the labels are still attached to the cloth pots on this latest crop. "Labels, labels, I don't have time to remove labels, there is weed to grow, right away." Now that's a maximum production mentality.

The purple is due to the cold weather we get during budding time here in the great Pacific Northwest. The aroma of the plants is fully of lemons, from budding to curing to smokig. Grade A buds
