It is hardly ever fatal to plants but it does deform them and it can stunt growth. As long as people can identify diseases it will be kept in check much like how tobacco company's have been dealing with the issue for years.

crop loss is always a problem and this stuns growth and takes up nutrient replicating the virus

imho opinion most of those splotches look like dew damage or water damage on leafs or other ailments that are natural are you outside, i seen some that look to be just about everything but TMV . . .a couple look suspect but TMV is not a couple, its everything that is close to each other or in contact with each other . . and there were only a few similar photos of each type of leaf damage . . .cut leaves take samples . . .call local big university and say i think i have tmv in my medical mj .. . . would you test . . then come back and tell us that they think about your MJ and TMV

most strains are covered but these were selected out of 100 seedlings all grown in the same condition just for the residents so honestly it looks a lot different in "normal" weed

A lot of that damage looks like insect damage especially how in one of the photos there are wiggly lines that are almost all connected. There are a couple of photos that have light green spots that look recessed. Your obviously growing outside so I wouldn't worry too much. Wouldn't be a bad idea to contact you local extension office and ask them about diseases and their symptoms that are soil borne in your area. If those light green blotches start to rot I would think more of a bacterial or fungus issue than a TMV issue.
