Burru Banton 'Boom Who Dis'!!!lol......and yeah I tend to be unbiased when it comes to music. hell, I even listen to some reggaeton when I'm with my PR family
agreed. i went back to court, on my 1980 assult on an officer. and got my rights back. thats what at least seven years proof of good citizenship will get you. so . whilee i agree that felones should not have one. unlesss they did what i did, apploied for me back, and have good record to show. i origially was told that a "crime agaisnt a person" voids you for life is not true. so for any who have a crime, and its at least seven years since, and no other "felonies", you can get em back. just apply at the court that you were in. its called a "certificate of rehabilitaion". of course, some will say that the lifetime ban is more appropriate, are goofs. its easy to point fingers at others. but when it happens to you, then your attitude will change. the govs idea, is for us to lose guns, and only crooks keep em. alot of the ones on the street, arent criminals yet, beut are on ther way to be, with the gang bs. i was 1980 "hannibal lector.". yes. i chomped down on a cop. but he "deserved" it. small town clowns. they get bored. and often cause probems, in ordet to "fix" them. ie. arrest someone, after they piss em off. (me).lol . i think i know why they called em pigs. mine, squealled like one, when i bit thru his accuiys tendon. i enjoyed it! i told that to the judge. so he gave me ten, instead of five. lol. i was out 26 mos later. board said i was not a criminal. but would be one, if left in jail as long as the county wanted. lol. so, i am vindicated. and now shopping for an ak-47. why?? why does a dog lick itself? because it can!! anyway. that was 32 years ago. and the odd thing is, i lately have been turned down for jobs. for a thing 32 years old??? narrow minded people. but, i lhave a place clearing my record. good, right? some whold say no!! u must suffer your life away!!......punks come in many forms. im not one of those. at 54, im not concerned with the law. i obey it. but yes. felons who have not been cleared , are not given the right back. so if they have guns, it was on their own. they could get into trouble if caught. i think its 10 years, without possibilty of parol, if the judge dont like you. nra member. -again. that was the hardest part!!lol. anyone dosent think i should have gotten my rights back, is not being fair. the law was there, i used it. but i had to proove i was a good citizen. thanks for your post. i hope my reply will help others who at one point, made "mistakes", but have sence been good.Firearms. Thunder sticks. Guns. Straps. Heat. Burners. Whatever you call em, they are the shit. I believe that anyone that isnt a felon, is a responsible adult, and can afford one, should have a gun. Too many criminals in the street have them, its time to level the playing field. Do you like guns?
But what about the sound of it is so unbearable to you?I don't even hear the lyrics. It isn't a question of which music is better or worse, but a question of personal taste. Whenever I hear rap or hip-hop, it's like nails on a blackboard to me. Even a distant refracted snippet makes me cringe. I make no claims that it is inherently bad music, but I cannot stand it and feel that way honestly. For me, race is not a factor. Bass otoh ... my ears are extra sensitive to bass, and a culture that actually glorifies liquefying the neighbor with your low-freq output is just morally wrong. Jmo. cn

How to put it in words? I cannot. cnBut what about the sound of it is so unbearable to you?
Majority of ppl like hip hop these days. I just dont see whats so bad about it. I know you can answer this question.. you have a completely unnecessarily technical answer for everything else, lets hear it for this one.How to put it in words? I cannot. cn
What I am saying is not "it's bad". I am saying "I can't stand it". I exercise the privilege of having my own sovereign sense of taste. cnMajority of ppl like hip hop these days. I just dont see whats so bad about it.
I get this. But what about it dont you like? What I am saying is not "it's bad". I am saying "I can't stand it". I exercise the privilege of having my own sovereign sense of taste. cn
The ways it diverges from the music that I really truly do like. They are like ice and fire.I get this. But what about it dont you like?

Do not ask me to explain further. It's entirely a matter of taste, and of the mismatch between yours and mine. There is simply no good way to turn it into a contest. Even so, I challenge your statement that the majority of people like rap/hiphop. There are over 300 million folks in this nation, and there are enough in my age group which almost monolithically wrings its hands at what we consider that rude noise. cn
Like my father did at the incesent Metal that eminated from my room as a kidThere are over 300 million folks in this nation, and there are enough in my age group which almost monolithically wrings its hands at what we consider that rude noise. cn
