Thunderstormin'

Right now. Supposed to be pretty severe. My wife is frightened by thunderstorms. I like them. Until a tree falls on my house. Then I don't like them. What are your thoughts on thunderstorms?

Comming from a place that only gets a few small ones a year, I love to be in a real storm. The more forked lightning the better.

I like them a lot. Until they force me to sit at the shop for two hours waiting for it to end cause I rode my motorcycle this morning. Ugh.

I'm ok with storms, my dog turns into a pussy in a thunder storm and on July 4.:?
My dog is like that too, completely wimps out and hides and whines, my cats look at him like wtf is your problem? They all fear the vacuum cleaner though.

I love them. Clears the air, wets and cools thingsndow. Unfortunately we might get a couple a year, virtually none in summer

Well it kind of died off into a little pussy rain storm. Another pretty fierce looking band should be here in about an hour. Damaging winds, hail, flash floods, maybe the killing of all first borns for good measure. Hopefully we get it poppin'.:eyesmoke:

Thunderstorms are great for getting the romantic groove on :hump:. Nothing like all that crashing and wind feeding its energy into lovin'-- lights will be out anyway, may as well have fun in the lightning flashes.

That picture is fucking incredible. You got a link to a larger resolution version of it per chance?

And my feelings on thunderstorms are the same as yours. They're awesome until they destroy something of mine. And they also piss me off when they happen when I'm camping or at my lake cabin (like this weekend, it better not fucking storm this weekend!)

I dig em. The wife shits herself.... Years ago when I lived in Reno, a T-storm came from the south. Growing up in the Central Valley of Cali you don't see to many storms so I got and nice comfy chair and watch that sum bitch roll north. It was like something out of a movie. Nice blue sky above but this HUGE thunderhead shootin lightning and rollin thunder was coming right at me. By the time it got to my house, it was hail and clappin thunder. My back door was hella old with a 9 paine window. 1 clap of thunder shattered them all. Lightning set off fires just to the north of the city... That was a crazy night right there...

I love a good thunderstorm as long as I don't lose power for very long. I used to not care about that either, but with my grow no power can cause plenty of problems for me.
