I just found the Super Sun 2 reflector and it seems to have some good reviews too.
I second this hood.
I setup two 18"x40" areas each with one SS2 hood in them. It covers about 18"x32", so I put the outlets and such in the dim/non-direct space. With a 293 inline (SP TD150) and two extreme bends in really short ducting, the temp difference is 5-7 above ambient (400W). With your 500 CFMs centrifugal inline, you should be fine in terms of heat displacement.
For more reviews and lightoutput tests, look up "air cooled reflector testing with digital footcandle meter" on google. That thread goes very into detail with light output tests and such. Good resource to anyone looking up AC hoods.
In your case, one on a light rail would be great.
