Only you can answer that man. Don't stay married for the wrong reasons you'll be miserable. Trust me I know. I got married for the wrong reasons and stayed married three years longer than I should have. Now that I'm out I feel great again loving life.

If ur asking cuz of the legal issues and money.. then no. I think a seperation shud be fine if u dont want to deal with the monetary aspect. Whatever you do, make sure you and your wife come to a mutual agreement.

Divorce ... sucks, no matter which way you slice it. So, many emotions...more negative than positive.

Both of you need to sit down cry your hearts out and look @ realty. Times are hard.

Be civil if you can about the situation. ( Easier said than done)

Good Luck

This is why I'm never getting married or even having kids, too much money.
When you have a wife you truly love and she gave you your child... money isn't as big an issue as you would think, even when things are tight...

Until you get divorced and have to pay alimony and child support.

Also, what's the % of people who get divorced?

Alot more ppl get divorced now then they used to.
Not really. Total number has been level since 1980 or so, and rate has declined. cn

I'm including this graph to show that there has been no trend reversal in the decade not covered by the one above.
