well i dont want to waste any of my plants so i want to get ready ahead of time but if i was to get a male can i cut the sac so it doesnt pollinate my females . is it even worth growing a male?

the only reasons for growing the male to maturity would be for pollinating or making hash from the dried leaves and stems. Even if you trim the balls it will mature and pollinate your females. If they are still in veg and you dont know the sex. Take one clipping from every plant, root the clippings, and put them on 12/12. (keep track of which plant is which) then you can kill the males before they even grow balls or you can decide to let them grow

No reason to keep him unless you are trying to breed plants instead of growing weed.

Not to worry though, marijuana plants are very flexible. Your yield is much more based on the size of your lights over the number of plants you have. However many females you finally end up with, they tend to expand to make use of all the light. So five plants vs ten plants isn't 50% less. More like 5%-15% less - depending when you dump your males. Your remaining plants will just grow more to fit the light available.

not worth it i would just kill them if there was anything REALLY useful to do with males other than breeding someone woulda come up with it by now

do not grow males dude.....ones you recognize a male....kill it, atleast if you wanna cross some of your femes with it .you'll need to collect male polens and polinate the femes.

If you plan on growing multiple plants for a long period of time, chop the males down, but keep them and dry them out. Eventually you'll have enough leaves and stems to make some good bubble hash. And Bubble hash often is just as, if not more, potent than some bud. Or you could even just make some hash oil. So don't just throw them away, all parts of the plant are useful.
