KidneyStoner, Lady.J, and I decided to start our grow's of PE on the same day(7/11) and compare our results. I'll also be growing Barneys Farm PE auto alongside the G13 for comparison. I believe the three of us our doing 12/12fs. If anyone else wants to join us, you are welcome to. The more the merrier!


Until the 11th I'll be keeping track of a couple Northern Light's here. I germed one(NL#1) in paper towels on top of my ps3 to keep them warm and another(NL#2) in one of those expanding coco pellets in my grow space with the light 12/12. NL#1 cracked sometime before 12pm today.

I'm going to let her grow her root for a little longer then plant her in FF Happy Frog.

Oh for those who don't know, this is my first grow and even though my NL's just popped today I'm having a blast. Also, RIU is pretty awesome.

Oh yea, of course...I think we are all using different lighting systems, wouldn't really be a fair comp. It's nice to compare something you're growing to someone else and have it be the same exact age! I'm excited to get the bean popped :)

I use just the HPS. I'd need a seperate room just to use the MH for my 12/12 fs perp grow. Just wouldn't make sense in my case.

What method do you plan on using? CFL? MH?

I think I will use CFLs for the first week or two, then move to HPS...but haven't decided yet. Was going to use the MH bulb but I won't usually be able to incorporate it once I get things going, so will end up being only HPS in the tent as long as I'm on the 12/12 perpetual kick.

Rufus, what will you be using for light?

Also, what method will you 2 be using to germ your seeds? I use the wet paper towel method.

Im def subbed I have 5 pe along with some cheese and white widdow beans on the way. Should have em next week. Just not sur if im goin to flower them in the t-5 or hps tent.
