why do my fan leaves sometimes has 5 leaves then the other has 4?

My guess would either be the genetics or stress on the plant? But I'm not too sure on this one.

are the leaves deformed/mutated in any other way? most likely just the genetics of the plant as long as there is no mutated/crinkled growth.

now if there is mutated/crinkled growth it could be a number of things and i would start with the roots.

yea soil PH can lock out things and sumtimes make the plant make odd leave numbers .. I think specialy in flowering ..

not to much in to this .. just read a littel about it .. think I remember sumthing about PH .. do some research/google it ..

yes the other leaves are deformed like 5 finger fan leaves has 2 round leaves while the 3 is normal

in hands its like the pointing finger, middle finger, and ring finger are normal while the thumb and pinky formed like oblong shape with no lines.

well if its genetics dont worry .. if it the root/soil PH you need to look in to it ..

need some more info .. how old .. in what medium aso.

mine is in flowering right now .. uptill flowering I got 5 fingers then 7 then 9 .. but now in flowering it make 1... 3 and 5 fingers at the bud tops perfectly normal ..

i just got my soil in my plantbox outside the house, where santan flowers grew there.

it sprouted around april 4 2012, until now im vegging it. it is starting to form some branches in the internodes of the main stem.

i use rain water and purified water for watering and misting.

i am having a hard time on my plant but i hoping for a good yield with quality buds/stalks.

nahhh dont do that .. dont know if it acid or alkaline or what it contains .. in best case it lack a lot of stuff weed needs .. in wors case you get bugs/bugs eggs in your grow .. not to talk about seeds from other plants aso ....

use then 5-10$ on some good soil .. and repot em .. Im sure that will help .. cant hurt ..

try to get some realy good organic weed soild .. Plagron All mix or boibizz All mix ..
but that wont even cut it .. its a sciens .. need to add stuff like blod/bone meal .. lime aso.

but atlest get some good soil .. and get some perlit if possible .. lega nuts can work .. also nice to have em in the bottom of the pots ... weed dont like wet feed .. like airy soil ..

rain water is great .. dont even have to correct PH .. just keep useing that .. make sure to filter it and keep it inside for ½ a day or so .. so it is temperd and not to cold .. roots like room temp water ..

and purified water is great for misting .. once or twise a week .. evry day if you struggling with low humidity (weed like +40% humidity in Veg and less then 40% in flowering)

you can also add stuff to your misting .. like 1/4 strenges liquid nutriens .. and a wedding agent .. like wet betty .. or yucca .. break water tension so plant can take it up more easy ..

also .. did you know plants take up 90% of the moistor in the air from the under side of its leaves .. its wher its pores are locatet .. so mist them under the leaves .. and do it early .. so it have all day to dry and take up the water/nutriens .. same go for watering .. and water good when you water .. need to see a littel run off .. and then let it dry up good ... top 2-3 inches need to be dry .. pots need to be light .. weed dont like to wet constandly .. need air to its root ..

yes im planning to go to a homedepot on my rest day, but i don't know what will i buy, because my plant was to buy some reflectors and more lights. i can't buy all
the needs of the plant at the same time because of my budget and i have a little saving only.

by the way, the humidity here is around 90%.

but you dont have much soil in them pots .. and the soil I suspect dont cut it ..

its ther home .. right now they have a shitty 1 room basement appartment .. if your on a budget and need to buy it all from home depot ..
you wont be able to get/afford a "mansion" .. maybe even a "house" .. but atlest give em a nice "appartment"

get a nice big bag of some good potting soil .. if they have diffrent kinds .. then go for the one for tomatos (come close to weed) dont get anything for orkidis .. they like acid stuff .. weed need PH between 6,5 and 7 around netrual ..do a littel research .. my home depot have like 8 diffrent kinds .. for roses .. for grass .. for tomatos .. orkidis aso .. they als have some nice plant school soil with sand and clay in it .. if I schould pick one up ther for a grow I would choose that one .. and get some lega nuts at the same time (cheap) ..

I would mix my good plant school soil (10$) with 30% lega nuts (5$) and also add some lega nuts at the bottom for drain .. I even like to keep a inch at the top .. to shild the soil .. give roots peace from watering aso. also keep the moistor .. and keep the soil in the pots .. and look nice

but you will need more then that .. you will need the basic nutriens NPK .. and micros (zink(iron/copper/cal/mag aso) and trace elements ..

agin .. if your on a budget .. get some tomato nutriens (agin do some research .. weed like N in Veg and P/K in flowering)

if you can get some bat guano and some dolomit lime for the soil it would be great .. Epsom salt is also a good and cheap thing you can add to your soil for sulfur and magnesium ..

try to google soil mix for canabis and use half a hour ..

also .. I dunno what kind of pot you use ? if its clay dont .. get a nice one in plastic .. maybe 3 or 5 gallon and make sure it have nice drain holes in the bottom .. many clay pots have one small hole .. that is not good .. need atlest 4 - 8 fairly big drain holes or the soil in the bottom of the pots will be wet 24/7 and can become acid over time .. wors case you get root rot and dead plants ..

i have 2 days left before my rest day, and i only have a couple of cash left.
i use a 9watt GES led lamp, is that ok? i try to use the bulbs here at my house that have not yet been used.(i only put one).(budget efficency for me). i used a lamp light with a bendable neck so that it can be hanged up.

so what will i first buy? do i need to add more lights? or do i need to buy soil first? or should i go for the reflectors?

if it was me .. on a budget ..

I would buy ..

a bag of normal plant soil

and a few 23W CLFs in 2700 or 3000K (K=kelvin) as I dont surpose you can get 6500K ? could get one 5000K and one 2700K and mix it a littel ..

if any money left over I would go for the refletor .. but try to be creativ .. white paint can go a long way .. so can a camping mettres (you know one of them you lay under your sleeping bag on the ground (silver color) can also use them you put on the front window of your car if its freezing .. agin silver color ..

and for leganuts .. they only realy do one thing .. they let water drain and give air to your soil/roots .. so if you can find some nice small rocks it can do the same thing (make sure you wash them good .. maybe use clorin and then make sure to get that off after words) dont your neighbour have nice white pearn gravel in his driveway

can i use pebbles as substitute for small rocks?

there are small gravels in our garden i can just hammer them into piece and put them directly on my soil?

for the reflectors i'm planning to use aluminom foil, is that ok?

nop .. dont use foil .. it will create hot spots and burn your plants ..

if you dont have 10$ for some maylor then just go for plain mat white (get a cheap spray)

pebbels schould be ok .. wash em good .. just a inch at the botom for drain a littel on top if you like ..
