No people keep their "Mother plants" (Plants that stay in veg pretty much their whole life so they can make clones) in constant veg. The longer they stay in veg the bigger they get, more bud sites. Is it bad for how long plants stay in the veg stage cause i'm wondering myself, I was thinking about force flowering. But if it doest hurt the quality/yield of buds for how long the plant is in the veg stage I will keep them growing outdoors
2 Hours wont matter, it didn't go flower. Your yield will be the same. Your harvest time depends on the strain, region you live, and if it's a autoflower.I got a ? Also. I put my plant in a shed one morning for like 2 hours during the day cause people was over and I really wasn't thinking clearly. Like a month ago maybe a lil longer. But since that it has been outside. Did it re veg or what? I mean idk it's confusing me really. Its got buds on it. Idk if I fucked my hopes of getting a good yeid all up. Plus my harvest time would it be sooner if it didn't re veg.. I got pics on my thred just look if you want
Yes it's flowering. Sorry I didn't realize more post's were here. Where do you live at? You can use http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/sunrise.html that tool to see your light schedule. I've been reading up on it some people say once you get the plant into flower it's hard for it to go back into veg. Needs something like 15 hours to go back into veg. Also read that outdoor plants arent as light sensitive as indoor plants, so that may be another reason it didnt go back to veg. Just keep it in flower you would lose alot more yield if you tried to re-veg then just letting it continue as it's doing.Flowering thou right? First grow' and 20 g pot
Well I heard they wont stay flowering more then I've heard they will stay flowering. I've also read that they would have to have like 15 hours of light to go back to veg. I can't say for sure just what I've read.I checked the chart and it says I hit 12/12 late Sept but I know my girls started flowering in August plus that would make harvest in late Novemnber... I don't think 12/12 is a hard rule. I am hoping to build a frame over a bunch to cover them at night easier if anyone has any tips. Also, it sounds like I'm correct in thinking I may not need to imitate the 12/12 too long before they stay flowering without the cover?
When my Girlz last year started pre flowerering does match just under 15 hours on the chart... I wonder if the folks who decided way back when lived where it is closer to 12/12 when they observed flowering to begin? I always say ask 10 growers the same question and get 10 unique answers... it has been forced Underground so long now with not much research and collaboration.Well I heard they wont stay flowering more then I've heard they will stay flowering. I've also read that they would have to have like 15 hours of light to go back to veg. I can't say for sure just what I've read.
But I thought the Indoor 12/12 was a strict rule? Why not go 14/10 then?12/12 is using indoor lighting. Outdoors, they usually start when days get under fourteen hours. In most of the united states,, the longest day of the year is just under fifteen hours on the summer solstice. Depending on the strain, they usually start flowering late July to early august
Hook me up then!robert76:7666258 said:12/12 is an indoor thing i usually see flower start last week in july to first week in aug in and still have 14 hours light on a typical plant i think it has more to do with the plant sences that the days are geting shorter than amount of light. i grow Iranian g-13 witch finishes in aug and is a BIG producer if ya want a really harvest and dont want to piss with them next year grow that and the smoke off it is second to none
