Okay, so I decided that after my Liberty Haze wasn't going to play ball, I'd pop some Kandy Kush seeds in to grow out as tasters. In the spirit of Lady J's 12/12 from seed business. I've not yet grown out and flowered from so young a thing lol so I'll get to see how this pans out.
However...
upon taking the seeds to the propogator, Liberty Haze has popped!!! WOOOO! Only just cracked the shell really but it's enough! That means it's been activated and it will now perform for it's audience
I put the two Kandy Kush in anyway lol
They're regs so who knows what'll happen with them. hopefully one of them will be female. Anyway, as soon as I see new foliar growth and at least a good bit of rooting, I shall be putting these girls in tiny pots and straight in the box, just wanna see what gives
No pics of the aero today, they're very delicate and I don't like opening the lid too often.
So;
Here I try something with the camera.
I read a thread earlier that said using polarised glasses with the HPS lights removes the lines and flicker. It does! But! there's no clarity in the pictures and they even seem a little cloudy... so i just took them out the box speshally
Budziller - still in it's 5th week and looking like a beastly woman, out to git ya! lol You can see the root system here through the clear plastic and you can also see how 'light-damaged' they are. PROOF that it's better to use black - shame they don't have them the size I want... hmpff
Exodus Cheese - also in it's 5th week. This started off as a taster and was intended to stay in a 3" pot. It got stunted
up-potting it has done it the world of good!
Funny, cos this lil fekker was a proper tree before she went in the box. Some of her stretched and the rest didn't - what you see here was a tiny off shoot from the main tree. I don't know why exactly but the rest of the tree didn't stretch at all - I simply cut it off AARGHHHH but I'm okay with it hehe as you can see... albeit a few less branches than intended, but it's NOT lacking
and Fruit Punch, the space taker lol She is in her 4th week and sticky as I don't even know what! You can't even brush past this lil lady without her coating you in hashish haha excellent!
Her trunk is a good 2" diameter, the widest yet of all my grows.
I love how this thing has just exploded in the box, cos when she went in she was a skinny scrawny little nothing. Now look at her
The most beautiful girl to watch growing, so far. Golden nugs which turn sugary immediately and only get more and more so throughout. And the smell! lol don't get me started!
If you can, then try this one, JUST for the smell. It's seriously out of this world!
When she's done, you can actually see her cola's turn cloudy and then amber. My last one was under rubbish low CFL's and was actually quite rubbish, I'm so excited to see how this, the daughter, is gonna be!
My veg box didn't get a photo shoot today either, but that's still quite delicate too. The new bulb and the new box, new enviroment, new fans, oxygen refresh rate, temp dispersal etc etc I just want them to settle in a bit before going to town on them.
I'm not sure about my seedlings. Never done any hydro stuff before this and am wondering if I should begin nuting already... their first leaves are about to spread open and they're now not growing as fast as they were if at all.
I added a small droop of BioBizz TopMaxx today out of concern - usually used for added bloom at the end but checking the label it only has minute traces of everything, so theoretically it should be okay for the wee ones. (maybe that's even what caused Liberty Haze to pop?)
Anyways hope you enjoyed my lair shots
