Ever smoked hemp?

Anyone here had chance to smoke a hemp bud?
did it have any effect? did it taste good/bad?

i am just curious.

I haven't, but I was told by someone they took out the thc, and you could smoke any amount and you wouldn't get high. Just a headache.

hemp naturally has very little THC - but it is rich in CBD and other cannabinoids.
i don't know about the headache thing.. does smoking bud give you a headache?

Wild hemp grows around some of our country roads. It is called ditch weed. It has no effects and some say it does give a headache...That may be from the chemicals the country sprays to kill it. You can see 10ft+ no shit hemp only plants one day, and the next they are withered and dead from the tank sprayers.
IMHO, pure hemp smoke will do nothing for a high, but may give that smoking oral fixation. Sort of like decaffeinated coffee.

i am thinking mostly of an alternative to tobacco. no high and no cancer/respiratory disease..!
i don't often want any kind of high from cigs.. just relief of tension, time wasting, etc..

Go to Home Depot or Blowes and get them to heat cut you a bit of hemp rope. Makes the whole store reek! LOL!

Just a thought. Want to eradicate California outside grow. Just fly over the area and drop hemp seed everywhere. Mother nature will do the rest.

yep.. that would work for a lot of it.. but i've heard that you need to be within 1 - 2 miles of a large stand for it to ruin things..

actually even hemp is illegal in the good ole us of a.. this is pretty much due to WR Hearst back in the 30s.. he was a super publicist and had a shit ton of acres of trees, and when hemp gained popularity, he was set to lose millions of dollars back then, so probably more like billions in today's economy..
so what did he do?? he went on the rampage and released and pushed films like reefer madness, and also printed tons of bs stories in his many papers, and pretty much single handedly made hemp and mj illegal..

yes - true - Henry Ford meant for all of his automobiles to be built from and run on hemp. it was like the unbreakable light bulb - the corporations took it over and made it out of steel and fossil fuels - things that cannot be grown by the american farmers.
