I got temps today almost 100 degrees? Will a swamp cooler work and get me down to 85 or so degrees in a 4 X 6 sealed room? Thanks!!

I see its gonno get real hot Friday and Sat. I think ac is the better choice altho pricey.

pricey too, it won't take near the power a portable ac would but it's not much cheaper to buy. then again the problem with a portable ac is you do have to exhaust and odor get in the exhaust bad. voidobject ( a mod over in hydro) just got some kind of ac that has no exhaust. Can't be the best solution in the world but who knows, ask him how his works.

VO bought some portable type, 2 bills, no exhaust. doesn't work as a conventional ac does I'm sure. possibly peltier. mickey mouse .

I don't have a window in there to vent a 110 window unit. If it is just a piece of duct, I can run it through the floor. So ... what should I get you think?

I get portable ac over a swamp cooler. Do you run a cooltube? if so vent the light and decrease the room venting so cool air builds up instead of venting it.

The port ac has ducting to go outside. ac works by removing heat so it has to dump the heat somewhere.

I got a portable AC from WalMart today & the temps are now beautiful!
