Looking some help guys. Here are the details:
- Basement with 6.5' ceilings
- 12 x 24 area that needs to be split (ie: 2 12x12's, 2 6x24's)
- 8 600 watt lights, 4 1000 watt lights
- No plant limit, but veg room is small, so don't make it like a 8 bucket DWC system that needs 3ft wide bushes
- Floor can / will be dug (to put res'es below grade)
- System should use no more than 2 res's, because chillers are $1,000 a piece
- Need to be able to access plants for maintenance
Other restrictions:
- No doors can come in from the top or left sides
- You can put your res outside the room on the right side, or in the room, or as a hole in the floor
- Can't take a bunch of replaceable media (soil, coir, hydroton, ect)
Here is my current "best idea"
Basically, It's a vertical system that runs the plants against the walls in 4 tiers. All the tubes drain into a res, then a pump moves the water back to the start.
My other, simpler idea is to just take the 6 foot x 24 foot area, make a 2 ft isle way down one side for walking, and then make a 4 x 24 E&F table on the other side. The table could just be done with cinder blocks and concrete, then 2 part swimming pool epoxy. XPS board and netpots for the top. Only downside is that, if you don't section it, it takes 230 gallons to fill 4 inches high.
Also thought about doing the same thing, and instead of E&F'ing it, just filling it a 3rd full and adding a bunch of airstones and these things:

Not sure what the nutes would do to the fogger though, I wouldn't think they'd hurt it, but I'm not sure.
Give me some input guys!
