because most of the time the outside plant is getting rainwater ...

Indoor growing usually gets tap water .. there are so many ways of people getting water with high or low ph . and other minerals in it .. the outside plant is getting the water straight from god .. perfect ph ...

Rain water ph is usualy 7.0 which is not optimal for plant growth. I have fed with rain water and have the same problems. It's all the shit we feed them to grow better. They just dont seem to need it outside.

There is a difference between 110* outside and inside. For the most part its the amount of space. If you are growing in a 5x5x8 or even a 8x8x8 the temps will stay hum. and staill. When growing out side the temps are going to vary though out the day.

And I think when growing out side the rain water does help but so does the amount of soil, and the mix that ppl use when growing out side.

Bullsh.. Throw some seeds outside and come back and have this beautifull bush. Biggest misconception among stoners. When I was young and naive I believed that but after growing outside for many years and encountered the amazing amount of problems that is involved with growing outside I soon realized what a bunch of crap that is. There is always someone who knows someone who know someone. Forget it maybe back in the myann days not now!!!! Try it yourself. We used to throw seeds outside the car and figured the seeds would grow everywhere. Never happened and we dumped a lot of seeds in the city and country.

Last year, my ex grew a plant that stayed outside 95% of the time (he only brought it in occasionally at night because we tend to have a lot of severe summer weather here and he was afraid something would happen to it..i dunno) and it SUCKED. We maybe got a quarter after the buds were dried, and this is off of like 5 plants.

Outside doesn't always mean better or even good.

It depends on whether it's in a pot (like BB420 said) or in the ground.

One thing is that the large volume of soil has great buffering capabilities, so that nutrient buildup/deficiency and overwatering are not as much of a problem.

its because we are too worried about our plants all the time, the more we mess with them, and try to change things, the more we fuck up the natural flow of things. these plants are meant to be thrown out in the ground and left for 6 months. that's why they thrive so well outdoors. i really think it's just us, that makes it so much harder to grow indoors.

i just asked this same question in a diff thread ,, the rain water here is at a LOW LOW PH of 5 .. , a few years ago it rained almost everyday , soaking my buds everyday for 2 or 3 months straight , with NO bud rot at all ,, sooo i dunno ,,, had them in the ground with dirt from the ground , i gave her some 20/20/20 time release nutes , came back 2 months later & BAM she was taller than me ,,, gave her some more time release 12/55/6 for flowering , came back 2 months later & got 4 OZ's from her ,, so the whole grow i visited her 2 times for her feedings , then 2 or 3 other times , just to check progress .. did not water 1 time ,, cause it rained almost everyday , or everyother day , with that acidic 5PH water LOL

your premise is false. It is not true that "you just throw a couple of seed on the ground in the bush and you come back 6 months later you have at least 5 beautiful marijuana plants that are completly healthy and have amazing BUDS".

I am an indoor grower but hey outdoor growers? Is this all you have to do?

sure it is , i do it every year,, dig up a lil hole mix up the dirt , dump in 20/20/20 time release nutes , about 6 inches deep , so by the time the roots get to the nutes they are strong enough to accpet them & dont burn them, , on average i visit my grow about 5 times , thats it ,, if i see a dry summer ahead i will burry a 5 gal bucket full of water & do the good ol wick system

How is digging a hole and mixing good soil with nutrients the same as "throwing some seeds on the ground"? and you also water them if they are dry?
I believe you may have missed my point.

yeah i may have , im sorry ,,, i dont dig a hole & mix in good soil ,,,, i just dig a hole & mix up the soil i just dug up ,, just to loosen it up a lil bit ... but yeah its not anything like indoors ,, my indoor grow i visit 5 times a day ,,,,, outdoors about 5 times the whole grow ,,,

i grow indoors and outdoors, fucking hate outdoors around here. people get desperate and rip you, but i do exactly the same with my outdoor plants as my indoor and my indoor is ten times better by itself. i dont use nutes, i dont do anything special.
I buy pro mix potting soil. just the basic shit, and when i water (once a week or so) i use tap water for my indoor.
My outdoor is just loosened soil (dug up) sow the seeds and they fend for themselves. But on the occasion i do visit them i have water on me (in one way or another). and we dont have too wet of summers or too hot its pretty sweet. like 95 is consider a F**King hottt day around here. like im gunna die its hott, hot.

Though I may have missed OPs point - which i will reword to say - why does it appear to be easier to grow outside than inside?

To which my response would be - millions of years of evolution?

And how many times has this actually worked for you, lol. For all the reasons everyone already gave I disagree with you 100%. Left to their own devices marijuana will become hemp. Skilled growers create dank bud by creating ideal conditions.
