I just found this a few days ago looking for the new TGA Charge Packs that are available out west. I could not find the stuff going to several grow stores and a few didn't even have a clue what I was looking for.

The bat guano they give you is the wrong NPK...Sub uses a 0-5-0 bat guano...they give you a 0-8-0

What does this thread have to do with the best store in Michigan? Would not a title more to your actual question get you better responses. Rather than folks such as myself? Some how "best store" equals bat poop? Not what I expected

I think he intended to mean the best store to find all the ingredients. I assume the best store would have the best selection and prices and most knowledgeable staff. I'm not to impressed by the prices where I'm at. Its a better deal to go on a road trip when you need a lot.

SGS is the biggest. They have about 5 stores in MI. have usually been happy w customer service, if they don't have it they will special order. biggest, oldest regionally, SGS.

they are my goto store for about 3 decades. I remember when is was Rich & Jeff.....Howard? u out there? he was one crazy clerk.sure knew his stuff tho

Howard was a wildman... this has not been verified, but I've heard he has passed-away. Jeff's youngest son, Pete is running a small SGS in Howell. The one on Saginaw in Lansing and also the Livonia store are huge. I still like the one off the beaten path on Dawn Ave in LAN, Howards old haunt.

Sgs is great. Just say ur a loyalty customer and youll get 15%off. Also htg isnt bad free bene teas on wednsday, up to 5 gal per trip no purchase necessary. Both are knowledgeable and prices are decent. Tho im in lansing. Gl bro.

I go to the small East Lansing store a lot. I do have to admit though that the place in Brighton growgreenmichigan or something like that has the best prices around.... but 98% of the time Im going to SGS.
Have any of you guys used the Progress Earth tea they have there?

Not a fan of Grow Green. Their parking (loading) is the worst of any grow store I've ever been to. You literally have to block a busy alley to load. Their marketing plan is too agressive... you won't believe the obvious grow related post cards they'll send to your house if they manage to scam your addy. ((guess the owner should have apologized to me when he had the chance.))
EDIT: Grow Green sucks for the above reasons. Jefferey Mote is the owner and his idea of Customer Service is Total Crap!  Hardcore Profiteers!!

I usually get my lights and fans from them and I just order online then pickup in the back ally. The money saved is enough for me to justify it.
I can believe they have issues with customers but I just do the minimal I have to there and its been alright.

Weren't they on the feds radar for a while prior to the med law passing?
Either way, I go there often. I hit up the one on Middlebelt in Livonia. They have a really sweet tissue culture lab right in the store as well. I've stood there drooling over it many a time.

Funny, I googled hydro stores near my zip code just to see what new ones had popped up lately. It turns out, I have 19 different grow stores within 10 miles of my zip.
