Leaves cupping up, and thin red lines on stems strawberry kush, please help!

Hello everyone, first time posting on the site and sadly is not to boast about my babies , i have been flowering my girls for about 1 week now (the pics are from day 3 of 12/12 and i will update asap), and around day 2 i started noticing leaves cupping up around the edges, i have leached to try to prevent a toxic build up, i have not fed yet since they are in BLUMENERDE potting soil with rice husk mixed in for aeration, i have also lifted my light as to prevent from heat issues, now on the past 3 days i have started to notice some red purplish looking lines along the stems of all plants...ive been looking to see what is wrong with them but i cant really find a definitive answer, help would be much appreciated ty

Temp? PH? How long in that soil? They look def. Could be a heat issue. More info please

most definately heat issues lower those pots yer fryin them!!!! get them on the ground! Is that foil wrapped around those pots!!!?????
foil doesnt reflect light it magnifies it. It conducts heat if it is I'd get it outa there just the fire hazzard issues alone.

yes they have been lowered for the past 2 days also the temp of the soil is fine not hot at all, the air temp in the room is 23C (sorry i dont know F) but but the temp near the tops is definitely higher the foil was put there to hold my grow bags in place (i live in a pretty remote place and i had to improvise grow bags lol i want to add they have perfect drainage), atm the pictures were taken they had been fimmed a few days prior , ph is at 5.8 to 5.5, they have been growing in that soil their entire life and just got up-potted 3 days before the pics. I am goin to take better pics of them tonight and post them up it probably will give you a better idea of how they are doing now...btw they are still growing but the red/purp lines on the stems are kind of tripping me out as well as the leaves cupping which has kind of resided on some of the leaves and worsened on others.

ok red and purple lines on the stems are 90 percent of the time just normal that actually has happened to a good 60 percent of the plants ive ever grown without a problem at all.....i dont EVER check my ph because its never off and im sure id get a bad reading and psyche myself out and start messing with the ph and actually cause a problem buuuuut i believe if i remember correctly 5.8 is pretty low you might want to double check and remedy that...

btw the ph 5.5-5.8 is the ph of the water, i have used the same type of soil before as well as some of my close friends and they have never had any problems with the ph of this particular type of soil

Just read a post by a guy whose light fell on his plants, if this was to happen in this room and it fell, or the bulb blows hot mercury on that foil, wire shorts, what ever, you will be standing outside your house talking with the fire marshal while your house burns down. Touch a hot wire to alunimum foil, ciggarette any thing hot, say a burning incadecent light, bet you won't want that stuff in your grow room anymore.
Person experience, my friend, just thought I'd pass it along, as I do always when I see this stuff in a room.
Everyone else reading this should do like wise, when helping/ mentoring , or just giving advice to folks it's the right thing to do, fires steal lives and everything in a life. GOES UP IN SMOKE!@! #@^$

Good eye kermit, pretty sour soil, try sweetening with lime. some people prefer dolimite lime, I like the characteristics of hydrated lime, there are many articles writen about what this stuff does for legumes ( beans and peas ) stuff that grows a pod . much success with it..
Your turning in of your leaves, comes from heat issues just leave them alone they will recover in time the edges will flatten out as you increase airflow and decrease temp, or plant to light distance. both or one, causes the same effect. when they flatten out they will display dry edges that will appear burnt. But as long as the majority of the effected leaf is green leave it on.

oh ok well your soil should be ph balanced then but over time the acidic water MAYYY start to drop your soil ph as well....like i said personally ive never had a ph problem as the soil and balanced nute lines help to buffer out any inconsistencies

i dont exactly get what your saying....aluminum foil doesnt start on fire if hot sodium hit the foil well thats better than it hitting the ground or plastic pot???!!!! also who has hot wires (temp wise) in their grow room and if you mean hot in the other way who has open wires in the grow room lol!! and what do you mean a cigarette? to aluminum??? nothing would happen!! foil doesnt gain ambient temp. fast enough or to a high enough degree to cause spontaneous combustion... i think your over playing the part of foil in the possibility of fire, i could be wrong and misunderstanding you though. the possibility is slim if you keep temps down and use the equipment properly with or without foil...that said though foil is never a good idea either lol...maybe use rubber bands or plastic rings of some sort??

ty guys very much i am definitely correcting the heat issue and hopefully we will see some changes, i doubt the water has lowered the ph of the soil since they have been in it for only 1 and a half weeks hopefully the pics ill post later will help you fellas at making an even more accurate diagnosis
