Help me design a low budget closet

just found your thread...traded my mustang in for a van...kids and all. i have the cool cab and couldn't be happier. the only issue is light leakage from the cloning chamber to the bottom when flowering. this was solved by using expanding foam around the sides and back and doble sided velcro curtain in the front. works like a charm. i did however make a change in that i only use it for cloning and vegging and then transplant to an ebb and flow set up for flowering and since i already had the spare bulb from the cool cab my cost was low. I grow white widow which i bought from buy dutch seeds. my first grow was all in the cab and wonderful. i solved humidity and temp issues with a window unit a.c. and a dehumidifier. you couldn.t dream up a more perfect set up. i am new to the site so i dont know how to give you links to my pics or my thread but you probably know how. good luck

How were your germ rates. I had bought from BDS and out of 5 WW seed put in, I got one beast of a female, which I have cloned a few times over. The other 4 didn't even come out. 1 of the 4 germed 4 weeks later and then I accidently killed the seedling, lol. Same with my Ice 5 in 1 beast, which was not at all as hardy as my widow, but now with the right recipe is 5 days into budding.

well i still have a 10 pack 0f ww but our similarities are spooky !!
i dropped 10 in and only 3 popped up and a few weeks later another made it against all odds but was sooooo much smaller i moved it in with my clones. out of the 3 only 1 was a girl and a nasty one too. got 3 clones from her for the following cycle where all 14 slots will be full of beautiful uniform ww ladies. you just have to love this stuff ya know!

I also can never get into photo albums, post it here or in the other thread that I have on the cool cab. It's all the same, then it will be an online reference for all the idiots like me aka pot heads, and it's cool. Thanks a million. My setup now is damn near perfect, except I have to set up a ventalation system. Just keeping the door cracked keeps temp and hum. perfect.

Not that they are a bad company or anything, but because if you go to their shop; everything in soooo much cheaper! I go across the bridge to their showroom in the Industrial Park near the airport and they sometimes have their systems 50% off - yes that's right half priced! So if you can't go there in person, don't shop there - the internet prices are just to darn high!

And even at 50% they are getting away with robbery. I just have to get ventilation squared away. And then the box is done, the ladies are doing well. So thats my main concern.

Don't worry about it. What's done is done. After a few crops you will be way ahead of the game anyways no matter how you started. The important thing is that you started growing and having that Cool Cab available to you is what it took for YOU to start growing so cheers to Cool Cab for that.

Thanks bro, very nice. I have to set up, my ventilation. If anything between harvest, when you can get a pure panoramic back shot, that would be beautiful. I have to do it, but money is the first issue. I need to get my funds up so I can invest. I was thinking since my temps are fine anyway and I am using a simple batwing reflector. I would use two 5" Cpu fans in and one 5" out. Do you think that would be sufficient. My closet is considerably larger, which gives it a whole lot more free air. But if you seal it after an hour or two, humidity will shoot up.

i think those fans will be perfect. the cool cab just uses a bathroom exhaust fan from any hardware store...i will pull it away from the wall in the morning during the dark cycle and take some pics for you. no problem! and thanks for the kind words. and as far as the set up goes i think yours will be perfect if you put those fans in. on mine just turning one at a time on makes dramatic differences very very fast in temp and humidity.... hope it works out for you!

also read on here that you can get a cab like mine and much bigger at staples for dirt cheap ~50-75 bucks. havent checked but thought it might interest you.

Yeah the mark up is redic, even in my other thread someone said if you go to there showroom they are 50% off. I still would rather build. But I originally bought Stealth Hydros Bubbleponic tanks and I am using them now. Again could have been made myself. But sometimes. They save you all the trouble and the risk of fucking up. Truth of it is wouldn't we all love a dedicated room and then we wouldn't be dealing with closets. The many different levels of growers. LoL. The stranger under your name is cause you are still a stranger here. You don't have many post. Get around a little bit, say hello to everyone, they change quickly. I am an official toker. Ha Ha.
