Getting some freebies from an Attitude/Holy Smoke promo. So has anyone grown and/or smoked any of the following? Or have they not been out very long?

Afghani Peshawar
Nepali Rukum
Bhutanese Thimphu

I am very, very interested in the Nepali and Bhutanese. They seemed to all pop up at several places all around the same time.
If you do grow them out, try to update if you would please.

I found a BT grow on another site, but it seems incomplete. I want to pop them, but not sure of the time frame, got family coming over for Thanksgiving and it seems these landrace sativas have very long flowering times indoors.

Well I put the 2 Nepali Rukum in soil this morning. According to the original breeder (not Holy Smoke), it is supposed to be easy to grow, so I figured I'd start with it.

My two Nepalis are growing well. Had some unknown issues (mag?) early on but seemed to be held at bay with some Epsom salts. They definitely look like pure sativas -- thin leaves, spindly. One is growing much taller but also seems to be less "mature" based on the branch pattern. I'm casting my vote for male on this one, will see in a few weeks as I will be putting them in 12/12 soon.

Well, good news: one of my plants is showing female parts in veg! Slightly bad news is that it is the tall, lanky one. She is going to be a beast to tame during flower.

It looks like when I top dress with organic granular nutes (how I typically feed), I'm going to have to go lower with the N content at least. I tossed some (2 tsp) 5-5-5 granular nutes a couple of waterings ago and I had nute burn on the leaf tips. Might try some kelp, alfalfa, cottonseed or similar next go round.

Hey brotherjericho how did the Nepali finish out? I just got the Nepali Hybrid mix pack free from Hemp Depot and it looks appealing. Any pictures?

This is the original Nepalese strain with an electric high and immense colorful sweet/earthy hashy flavours! It has a pineapple tree configuration and heavy colas

I got a free 10 pack from the depot. I was just going to give them to a friend, but I think I am going to throw them in the garbage. The company sounds like a bunch of fake rip offs and stealing pics. Also who has time for a 14+ week strain that looks far from outstanding, looks more like hemp to me.

Old, I know, but wanted to update for anyone slightly interested. The plant that was female turned out to be pure junk. A vine with popcorn buds and not a bit of resin after 14 weeks. Perhaps I should have let it go for several more weeks, but I lost patience with the plant. Now I know why most people recommend not growing 100% sativas indoors! It could have been my "just ok" lighting (works well for all the hybrids I grow) or poor genetics, or both. I still have the Bhutanese Thimphu freebies and Malawi Gold, but I don't think either will make it into my grow room any time soon, if ever. Live and learn!
