as for the prices, im from the uk and cost me about £300 thats without my weed pass which is 50euros a day.

I wish I was close by this year to attend, but sadly I'm traveling around the world it would seem. I wonder if Perth has a weed festival or something close to it?
 
Yeah the cup was raided last year but i think this year it will get left alone kinda letting the cup have its last hoorah i dont know tho cause im from the states and i dont know how the dutch govt is so anything i say about it is just opinion no fact at all. I just wanna go to the cup being its last cup in amsterdam and the last chance i will get to expierence a dutch coffee shop. I think the price on that is priceless for anyone thats a smoker and this being the mecca of pot. My email back asking about the hotels i would get with the package said they are 3 and 4 star motels. They said they try to get the americans that go through there company rooms with a private bathroom and shower. Fuck i wouldnt mind sitting on the john watching some hot euro chick taking a shower while i take a shit. Cant be any worse than some of the fucked up motel rooms i spent some time in Tijuana in. Another website had a barnys hotel package but it wasnt offered for single travelers just two. the website also said you may not know were your motel is until a few weeks before the cup or into sept sometime. So since no one can give me an USA travel company to really compare with Amsterdamtrips . com i dont know who else to compare tickets with. Maybe im gonna try to talk to a few local travel companies see what they can offer me

£300? I can get there for £50 return. Where exactly are you departing from and would you like a travel buddy?
 
Oh lol, I've only just been visiting Bristol frequently of late to see a fellow member, what a coincidence. I'm a lady btw and going from London... Will not pay £300 to sleep lol. 7 euros a night at the most!

What weed pass is this? I'm thinking it must be for some cup or something because from everything i've read there is no such thing as a weed pass in Amsterdam yet. A law has been passed meaning that towards the end of the year it should be implemented nationwide, but not at present, just in 3 southern areas. Jan 1at 2013 for the rest of the country.

The tickets are for the cup itself,they reckon the weed pass is going to start next year,I was there last month and they said that they won't stop selling to foreigners as it will cost them their businesses
 
Yeah im pretty stoked i booked my trip two days ago got all the confirmation thus far just a few little details i am gonna have to wait for like what flights i will be on and the hotel but everything else is set. The weed pass the bryn was talking about i believe is the judges pass i dont know tho but that is included in my trip this is what it includes pretty good deal i thought $2400 for round trip airfare from my little state, 6 nights hotel, judges passes to the cup, Vip passes to all concerts and shows put on at the cup, tour of the red light district, canal tour, meet and greet at the amsterdam airport, shuttle to and from the cup each day. I am going solo if i would have got the tickets in february it would have been a couple hundread cheaper. We have months before the date arrives but i hope to meet up with some of the smokers here on rollitup at the cup would be pretty sweet since i am going by myself and literally wont know anyone for thousands of miles. I have a friends whose sister lives in Italy i am trying to convince to come up to amsterdam atleast for a few days but who knows.
 
Apparently i might be going to Amsterdam in agust and again in october or whenever it is in the winter that the cup is on. Don't relaly know anything about it, someone just asked if i'd like to go fo her birthday, sounds good to me! :) Havn't been in about 6 years now.
 
The cup is in November i think like the 19-24th I seriously cant wait never been to europe just Mexico and a good number of places in mexico most of its a shit hole but thats a poor country for you. I got a email from my trip provider with some travel tips on where to exchange my american money for euros. And some other bits of info.

so you live in amsterdam or you going to the cup kuroi for you birthday? Now that my trip is paid for im saving money for all the testers im gonna have to pay for so that i can be a good judge. im thinking the prices arent gonna be that great and i will probably end up spending a good bit of money buying testers. Also thought about spending some money at the Red light. Probably not tho prolly spendy.
 
Welsh im not looking for cheap weed bud im looking to smoke the best and give a honest judges answer im not looking to go find myself a 2 dollar gram man im looking to get the shit at the cup thats entered by breeders and has been sitting in a jar and curing for a year.
