use to be a brick layer till i had a stroke.
building most things is just using common scence building a easy to ajust light holder using a shelf, threded rod, wingnuts and plant hooks. drilled holes for the threded rod then put it through the holes hang the light . just have to turn the wingnuts to ajust the hight on eighter side of the reflector till you get it where you want it. works great for a one handed person. might have to figer out how to motorise. cuz i am lazy. mostly when baked but that is when i come up with the best ideas on new projects. sorry no pics. no camera
the best part is that the shelf & the threded rod are both ajustable.the whole cabnet is on caster wheels so it is easly moved from room to room

Thanks dew-b, sorry about your stroke.

Makes me think when we say on the job "Man I wish we didn't have to do this shit anymore"

Nice one handed lamp adjuster, maybe you could start a company that makes growing products for disabled growers.

Actually, for a good 30yr, yeah, that sounds about right to me. Let the floor fall out from under me (well, not on that one side of the house, it's probably a 25' drop to the bottom), but keep a good roof over my head!

there are cheaper shingles , You can get 15 yr shingles ,, and the cost is a little less but if its YOUR house .. why chinz doit once do it right , be done with it .. Ive been doing a lot of metal roofs ... those are 50 - 100 year lifespans .. Thats when you only get that roof 1 time .. if done right it will outlive its owner

Trades aren't what they used to be, glad to here from some HQ builders.

Always getting undercut by illegals, with the taillight warranty.

Don't have to pay COMP for illegals, plastering comp in cali is 140% wage.
