Edit: Title should say 2 Pounds/2 weeks

Hey guys,

Am already well into my second grow with my third and fourth grow in the same flower room. Right now I have 50 plants in the flower room and need to expand. Currently running only 2 1000 watt HPSs, obviously need more.

I have a diagram I drew up on MS Paint, have a look:

Untitled.png

Each green square will have 16 plants in 4x4 configuration all set at 2 weeks apart. Due to circuit breaker limits, I can only run 3200 Watts, I can push it to 4000 but I feel it would be unsafe.

With this setup do you guys think it would be possible to pull 2 pounds every 2 weeks?

Any changes I should make?

After hearing suggestions I will post up pics of the construction and final room along with a perpetual grow in this thread.

Thanks!

I am currently running 8500watts in a perpetual cycle. 6lbs mnthly is what Im averaging, that works out to about 1g per watt.

8lbs per month? Highly unlikely with 3200. I don't even think Jorge can do that?

3-4lbs a mnth would be about 1g per watt, a better number for an experienced grower.

Good Luck

thats some nice volume you're producing. I mislabeled the title, I meant to say 2 pounds every 2 weeks, not 1. that being said it sounds like it is attainable. time will tell I suppose

Tentative plant schedule:

Group 1: Clone cutting stage (not rooted) - 1st week
Group 2: Clone transplant to Dixie cup (rooted in rockwool/foam) - 2nd week
Group 3: Clone transplanted to 2 Gallon smart pots, Vegetative - 3rd and 4th week
Group 4: 1st & 2nd week of flower under 1000 Watt HPS - 5th & 6th week
Group 5: 3rd & 4th week of flower under 600 Watt HPS - 7th & 8th week
Group 6: 5th & 6th week of flower under 1000 Watt HPS - 9th & 10th week
Group 7: 7th & 8th week of flower under 600 Watt HPS - 11 & 12th week

Each group consists of 16 plants in 2 gallon smart pots. Expecting 1lb./2 weeks. I have 6 patients (Veterans from Iraq like myself) for a total maximum allowed count of 96 plants. I do not want to go over 99 plants so this will be it for me, no more new patients which is fine.

With 7 groups of 16 I would need 112 plants... oh fuck back to the drawing board... gah... any suggestions on how to attain 1 lb./2 weeks with my setup? It's probably a ratio game and the answer isn't immediately obvious... maybe it's because I'm medicating right now lol

nice setup man, subbed

imo 16 plants will yield 1lb if done right, and if you get them off every 8 weeks then there's no reason you cant do in 4 quarters...

with the amount of plants you are going for its a 1 oz average, you could do it half and half , or 3 sections taking each off every 2 or 3 weeks ect ect

i wont be surprised if you double that, and get 2 oz average...:peace:

Grow slightly bigger plants. Why not 9 per 1000w light. 3 rows of 3.
the problem with growing larger plants is it isnt possible in my situation, each group only gets one month in the veg room from clone to 2 gallon pot then straight into flowering. I'm using 2 4 bulb 4ft T5s right now, would there be an alternative to make them grow faster while in the veg room?

thanks for the sub bro, appreciate it!

I'll need to harvest 1 lb every two weeks, each of my patients said they would use 1 oz. per week and I am also a patient who uses about 2 oz. per week (butter, bho, ect).

It looks like I'll have to consider vegging them for 5 weeks instead of 4 if I go for fewer plants or fewer cycles like you're suggesting >< I suppose if I could get 1.5 lbs. every three weeks that would be acceptable... back to the drawing board for a new schedule

lol man for sure. it's already become a shit ton of work with the 36 plants I got going on right now and I've barely established a growing schedule for perpetual grow. I have quickly realized that it is going to be a lot of work every day to maintain this op but I have mentally prepared myself for the physical labor. still I think I am in for some shell shockedness in the near future.

Personally I think when you're working with rooms the size of yours and mine you kind of have to go perpetual grow cause you got all that freakin space! it's time to wiegh tonnage son! lol jk

i was thinking of religiously planting 12 seeds every 14 days and doing them all 12/12 from seed, each batch of ladies under a 400w .if the ladies would like a bit more time i was gonna have a small tent/box to start the next ones in..

i couldn't imagine vegging them , that would be a hassle for me, ive been doing 12/12fs for a while now because of height restrictions , now im moving and getting all the space i want :hump:.....but i was averaging 1oz dry pp and i had to stress every plant to keep them small, now i dont have to keep them small i should get about 1 and a 1/2 pp. the key for me is the strain has to be a fast flower variety and if you want to smoke a variety of ladies that increases the problems , the canopy would be all over the place if you mix them so you prolly have to do batch by batch

Hypothetically, if I were to setup the diagram, this is what it would look like:

And if I were growing these plants hypothetically they would be these strains and they would look like this:

Blueberry/Cheese:

White Diesel:

Cotton Candy:

And this is what the colas would look like if I were to have this set up:

hypothetical comments welcome!

those would be great plants if you were actually doing them lol, hypothetically you have been smoking too much
