Is that some sort of good or bad indicator when alot of the hairs turn brown at week 4? Send like they turned brown over night plants still look healthy.does it do that at this time? aging? close to harvest?

Blueberry Haze. 30 to 40% brown hairs.

I've seen it before. But only on the top colas. That was because the lights where to close and heat was the issue. If that's not the problem maybe it's the strain you have.

My advice is to ignor the hairs and DO NOT LET THAT GIVE YOU ANY REASON TO HARVEST EARLY.

Usually that is what people want to hear when Posting about how fast plants are maturing.. My advice, leave them alone for 5-6 more weeks.

the color of hairs is not an indicator of anything. i have some strains that start tjrning at 3 weeks and some at 8.

they can turn color early from over fertilization or touching the buds with uwashed hands or having dirty fun with your loved one in the presence of the sweet sweet ganj j/k. My advice...let them grow, don't worry about the hairs, worry about the color of the trichomes ;)

I harvest when the trichs have half turned from clear to milky.

ps. I didn't know the girls blush and change colour. Thought it was just the Sativas that were shy !!

the flowers can ripen faster if there is a lack of water, too hot, too dry or another limiting factor that shortens ripening time. hazes are longer flowering in general. i think there is a limiting factor in your grow and when you discover it you will discover the beauty and flavor of the what hazes have to offer. they take a little more time and patience. mb not for the impatient. but if you do it right the rewards are sweet.
