Romney was given a religious deferment. Clinton proudly fled the country and bad mouthed the US. Obama never did any military service either.

Noone got "religious deferments back then, the best you could hope for was being allowed to be a conciencious objector, most people wound up in the service anyway and maybe, MAYBE were kept from being on the front lines as a result of their religious beliefs. The only ones who got out were the ones who could pull strings.

I was tiny in jr high but I grew a foot right before my sophomore year. Too bad for John Lauber that he apparently stayed small. Mittens is 6'2" and he was probably at least 6' at age 17. He was obviously well fed but not a jock.
