I concur, but house and senate bill that have/are formed under false interpretations are illegal per a Peoples Initiative, and the MSC Ruling.
You see, they have used the wrong interpretation. whether on purpose, accidently, or under false pretenses, to make changes they DEEM ok. But they are not ok, because the position they used to create them is wrong. That is the Only point that needs to be addressed atm.
and Until the Government and all Agencies there of, follow the Act as Passed and Interpreted by the People, not the Judicial, nor the Legislative, then any changes that are made, or attempted to be made or illegal and there for null and void. The MSC stood up and told EVERY Body in the Michigan Government, to Properly follow this Act, or there will be more consequences than are already happening, and coming in lieu of the MSC Ruling. Non of them good of the Pts nor the citizens of the state.
That is my line, It is a Good line to be on. Until the Act is being properly followed by all the levels of Government, AG's Office, the Judiciary, and Municipalities and all associated LEO agencies, how can any real Issue, not a "Perceived Issue formed from False Pretenses", be found, let alone solved.
Look I agree, there are a couple things of tweaking, but to totally dismantle it all of it, to limit those intended to be protected and helped from this act, for the sole reason of adding population to the state correctional system, is 100% the Opposite effect We the People Voted for, after the Benefits for Patients in the State.
If a Dr is giving recs for hangnail pain, then the State has the ability to punish the responsible party, in this scenario, the Dr... They are putting their Professional Name on the line by signing the Rec. IF it was done wrong, or not in good faith, then is the Dr not as responsible as the Patient?
Just as the Gov has improperly interpreted this law for their own agendas, as in this scenario, two wrongs do not make a right.
No one is above the law, not I, not you, and certainly not our government.
How can anyone say that is the wrong position to be on is just hard for me to fathom. And I cant accept it. To do so, would be akin to allowing the government to use illegal tactics to put you and I and others, Maybe our children next week, in jail because they dont like you. I ll oppose that all day long and twice on the sabbath.
