hey dude i didnt know you made music. you definately got some talent. a lot of dudes who make their own beats sound cheesy to me but your stuff is tight. i dont make my own music but i have been listening to hip hop for probably like 22-23 years, so i have a good ear for it.

SoundClick artist: Jey - Sandstorm, Haboob, Jey, Sector XII, Free At Last, sector 12,

EDIT: the tracks sound good man, maybe use a lil compression on some of the instrumentals(do you EQ all of your tracks?) all in all it sounds pretty good

aye bro the beats are cool, i was relieved to see that you got 1200's, and not shitty cdj's, too many people think CD's are DJ tools these days...

well all I have to say about this is u havn't got a clue mate I have been djin since I was 12 on a set 1210's thats 10 years now. I love them and will never sell them. but last year I invested in a set of cdj1000mk3's I know where you are coming from with the old school wax. Cdjs give me a lot more time to edit and manipulate my beats Live I can still scratch and beat juggle with them aswell.
I suppose it just depends on the style u mix but im UK Hardcore/Freeform

yea, I'm using windows...so...Reason 3.0 (dope for making beats) FL7....Audition 3.0 for mixing vocals, and EQ'ing beats, I've also used cubase sx, for mixing and mastering but im too busy to do it allllll myself anymore, it takes up way too much of my life as it is.....I've heard ableton Live is pretty good too, if you run a mac...pro tools, or logic...or both reason is mac compatible too, and so is audition too i believe...i might be wrong im not the mac friendly producer that my DJ is....They get pricey, but they're all more than worth it.

also to the guy who says i dont know what i'm talking about, I personally don't like the digital sounds...the scratches sound too synthetic, if you do the electronica scene its cool, cuz you don't notice it much, for the other billion genre's out there, it doesn't have much benefit, the real problem is it's too precise, analog is better in the sense that it still has the pauses, and crackles, and warm wonderful sound, whereas digital you have flat sharp precision scratches...like i said... for dj'ing weddings and prom night, or putting on a dope rave, sure CDJ's are cool, but give me old crackly grandpa analog anyday.....

Yeh totally like I said my genre is perfect for cdjs but as i said i love the old 1210's and all the old crackly imperfection you get.
