I have a buddy that has vegged his plants for 4 months. the plants are about 4 -5 ft tall and he just switched it over to flower. what well the results be? its in soil and hand watered. i know you can flower at any pt, but what happens if you veg for a while??

Thanks

You get a bigger plant is what happens, and with a bigger plant generally comes bigger yields.

Well plants usually double in size when your flowering so if the plants are 4feet now they would be about 8feet tall at the end plus you need the light about 2 feet away so i hope you have high ceilings.

They would only double in size if you've been vegging for 2 months (2 months veg and 2 months flower. THose plants will likely get to 6-6.5 feet, the light likely won't reach very much of the plant since the canopy will be huge, also you will have problems fitting a light in above it, unless burning your ceiling is acceptable. Another problem will be that the main colas will be so heavy they'll likely break a plant not exposed to the winds outside.

i fiquered they would get even bigger. what i sthe avrage flowering time line, a month, 2 months... the light right now are about 2 ft above the plants. how far should it be during veging? i know during flowering they should be 18-24 inches apart.
