awesome Job curly!! good man helping mates with some erb ;) everything looks resinous and juicy :) looks hard to chop, Enjoy the rewards Curly, LED MAN!!!

@curly604 you got 6oz, or about 180g from a 300w LED? Not too shabby at all, that's 0.6 grams per watt. Congrats. What was the price of one of those lights?

:) I said I´ve grown the strain before. Its an outdoor strain, very quick to produce and autoflowering. I got the seeds from Marc Emery when it was still possible and I love to grow them, especially because he`s where he is.The strain grows vigorously. I have a semiautomatic flowering clone in progress by the way. It´s an f2 I made possible the father is EWS too but I did have other males aswell so I can´t be certain. I vegged it pretty long it does flower under 24h put I flower it with 12 to 13 hours of light. I wouldn´t flower only EWS indoors, because theres so much stronger varieties available. It´s pretty good still and for outdoors with the challenges its a good bet!

Early Wonder Skunk
Autoflowering
Outdoor.
Mostly Indica.

Autoflowering! The development of this strain began back in the 70's. The goal was to mature the bud in the heat of the summer, with the potential for two crops a year. The breeding stock was Afghani/Thai for the strong THC, a Hawaiian/Guatemalan for the earliness of the harvest and a Ruderalis for the dense buds and the consistency of the ripening time. Its medium to dark green with a main dominant cola. She has a hashy, skunk smell and sweet skunk flavour.
This strain will treat you with the earliest bud ever.

Height 3 to 4 feet
Flowering time 5 to 6 weeks
Harvest outdoor July 21 to Aug 30
Yield 4 to 6 oz.
10 seeds
Price: $50.00

2what up hooked , got the 6 oz's from two 300w panels but had some girls thrown in late that were not nearly as big as the others this was also my first time using coco or growing either one of these strains so next round will turn out alot better im sure either way im happy :D, the panels run for just under 600$ and are worth every penny in my opinion , cant wait to see how my next run turns out :D

sweet as man 6 0z :) nothing wrong with that man, you will get better and better!! i'd like some led lighting to supplement what my hood doesn't cover!, cool colour effects as well! and efficient, amazing what they can do dry pics !!! dry pics !!! we await
How can you say there's nothing wrong with that? 600w of LED and he only got 6 oz? That's only 0.28 gpw! That's not a very good result at all.

whats up red thanks for stopping in , ill start off saying i respect your skeptisism i too am the same way but im not sure if you read the whole journal i had a few misshaps along the way. ill start by saying that this was my first time growing in coco or growing either one of these strains so i was bound to fuck up a bit :D. also the blueberrys i grew were from seed and two of them ended up being males so i had to bring in much smaller plants with shittier veg time and conditions to replace them late in the game , i made a few other mistakes with feeding and i was told after i completed my grow that rockstars are not best suited for big bushes but are better for sogging or having a bunch of smaller plants. if my grow had gone differently and i had all blueberrys from clone i would have had a good run .... i pulled over 2 oz's off the one blueberry the top nug alone was about an ounce dried so if i had six of the same or even close i would have doubled my yield , the rockstars all had one nice top nug but the rest was kinda spread out i dont blame the lights at all was my mistakes and genetics that screwed me ...but hey i was still a happy guy top notch buds and i dont have to use all the bullshit equipment that comes with hps growing. these lights have the power to produce some amazing yields man trust me ive dealt with a few of the "top" companies lights before this one and they dont compare to well. come checck my new grow its in my sig or there is a link right above your first post this round will be alot different i can tell ya that man might have you thinking a bit differently. cheers man

yield is not everything especially with new equipment. as long as he got some smoke, i'm sure he will be happy till his next grow ;) ideas will help his new scrog setup, and stay tuned he's about to make the most of LED, i'm keen to watch!!

keep up the sik work curly! see you at your new thread

Just logged in and read your posts. You're right about me not reading the whole thread. I've been researching LEDs, so I skip to the end of the poster's thread to see what results they got. Perhaps I was too harsh. Sorry. Had a few problems along the way I guess. My first grow was lousy. I over and under watered, nute burned the shit out of my plants, you name it, I did it. Never had any mold or pests tho. Surprising, since it was way too humid because I had a shitty hygrometer. Still got 21 oz from 2 x 600w HID. The pot was plentiful, but very poor quality. Two joints to get just a little buzz. The Viper looks just like the Cidly lights I've seen on the web. There are hundreds of lights from different producers that all appear just the same. The quality of the LEDs is unknown. I would like to try using LEDs, but there is little information about the quality of the products available. I bought 2 used Procyon 100's and have them lighting one side of my current grow. I added them much too late to accurately gauge their effectiveness, tho. I've been eyeing the PlantPhotonics 280w dual spectrum (would need two), but they're awful expensive. They do have top quality diodes, tho. A high quality diode can put out twice the light and use one third the power of a poor quality diode. I have solved all my heat and environmental problems, so my last remaining problem is my large electric bill. My electric use is triple what it used to be. I'm using low pressure aeroponics under a SCROG, now. Appears much more productive than soil. Only 1 plant under 600w seems to be wasting a lot of light. I would suggest more, if you have the room. Wish it wouldn't take so long to see the end result of your current grow. How long did you flower your last grow? I noticed most LED growers seem to have to flower a couple of weeks, or even more, longer than one would under HIDs.

good to see you back ;) i think the reason a few of these LED growers take longer to flower out is the plants are usually smaller, growth speed is usually determined by 2 things, health and mass :)

I don't know why, but a good investment would be a simple light meter off ebay.... would solve alot of confusion. $80 for a half decent meter. I belive in LED's i may have never used them for flowering but i've seen what they can do with stop lights, torches and modern car headlights now! technology is definitely getting better, how much better for LED? that's probably limited until they can find another burning source for the LED size globe... I think used properly and a scrog properly thought out 600 watts of LED should produce the same if not more yield as there can be more even light coverage, less heat issues.... i see alot of advantages and while technology is moving at a rapid rate it's easy to look past something as new as LED for growing.
